Yep. That is an interesting balance. There is almost no chances to fight against well-prepaired team. And there is no chance against well-prepaired predator if your teram are morons. The balance now is really FT skill depended

Agreed, hands down best review I’ve watched of this game. He really did a great job.
You don’t even have to be well prepared anymore. My team stopped taking this game seriously awhile ago. Its gotten to the point where we deliberately handicap ourselves by bringing in the worse weapons or only using the starting pistol and we still end up winning with little effort. The Predator is vastly under powered right now especially against PC.
I’ve not really encountered such one sided games on either team but I am on ps4 with cross play turned off 🤷♀️

Ya basically. The video is not wrong. I wonder if the footage wrapped up pre or post patch. Also the gun textures loading after using the stim was nasty.

PS4 is far more balanced simply because PC has mouse and keyboard so PC players will overall always have better reaction speed and accuracy. This results in melting the Predator constantly. If the Predator even thinks of going into melee it is nearly always a guaranteed second wind/death.
Dude has been playing against some novice Predator players. No wonder he thinks he has balls of steel. No way it’s that easy against someone who knows his shit.
Yes, it’s sad that the predator runs through the jungle with a spear from FT, although it could climb a tree or another hill to shoot them with a plasma gun. The gameplay of a predator with a spear cutting out the team in a minute is more fun, but it happens that the guys fending off all its blows and the predator has a stupor, he thinks how I can no longer kill them by waving my stick, so he rushes through the jungle and even in options do not come to the head what can be done with them so that he becomes a hunter and not prey.
I mean technically it is Predator: Hunting Grounds. Who are we to dare to assume which Hunter (FT or Predator) the Grounds identify with at any given moment?
In all seriousness though, it is kind of interesting that either side can be the hunted. Based mostly on the skill of the two parties involved. Yes this could be tweaked a bit, but still quite interesting in my opinion.
I already wrote under some post that the subheading “hunting grounds” refers not only to a predator. I often play for FT than for predator, this is due to a long search for the game. When playing FT, I’m not interested in doing boring tasks, shooting bots that appear on the map, I’m interested in the predator and the hunt for it, the predator is the only one who is dangerous for me and for my team members, I’m interested in observing its tactics and using my arsenal that to oppose him, he will hunt us, I will hunt him and this hunt will show who has big eggs). I think that many players will agree with this, because when you play the game you want to achieve the maximum by capturing or killing a predator.

the video is only accurate to a certain degree. one major issue is that you’re gonna play against far more horrible pred players than you will good ones. that’s just how it is right now. on top of that, a lot of games you have with randoms is a horrible experience because there are too many players that lack common sense or are just terrible(or both). i’m not saying the guy is 100% wrong, but it’s not as unbalanced as he makes it out to be. a good ft against a good pred makes a good match… it’s just finding those are few and far between. it’s difficult to balance a game when you have to cater to mostly unskilled and/or stupid people lol
i think the major problem is that this game almost requires that you have a good team going against a good pred, which you’ll very rarely ever get playing randoms. even getting a game where both sides are evenly matches is super unlikely, which is why you get landslide victories most of the time. i also don’t really get why people compare it to f13th since the games are nothing alike other than being asymmetrical.
Lot of berserker getting their ass handed them. Rightfully so.
The being said, the guns where not balanced with PC players in mind. There’s little recoil to compensate for on many guns.
I’m serious when I said, illfonic severely over estimated the pred and underestimated the FT. Weapon capabilities show this.
Yep, you are certainly right. The best example of that is Barrett. Literally melts predator in 4-5 shots. The funniest thing that when I was playing it, it was so overpowered in my pc hands that I decided never play it again. Like recoil is so easy, and damage is so fokin huge that there was literally no option for predator to survive.
Also today I played against it and got melted during the leap in invisibility. It s literally no recoil cannon.
