Changing the cloak allowed me to start experimenting with builds and assemblies again, trying to move away from the existing meta resist + bag + ranged damage. Spoiler: Dawn Range is still in the build, but what’s missing is the BOW!
I want to present you my build in the current state of the game
As you can see, I completely abandoned the bow on my scout, instead I use a PC with the “Adjusted Lenses” perk, now FT can track you in the direction of shots and the laser, this perk removes the need to hide the laser behind the texture every time which greatly simplifies tracking and gives you a lot more direct hits. Scout’s overload recovery is so very fast and the accelerated recovery perk allows you to get out of overload just at that time while you change position. Damage perk because … because it’s damage!
As for the weapons, I don’t see the point NOT to use the disc now, it is too good with some practice, colossal damage and quite frequent cunning, the second I chose a spear for the scout. Why? Because his throw fucks any class that hesitates, gets dirty? a spear. Shooting you with a rifle on the hill? A spear. TRYING TO JUMP ON THE HANGAR AGAIN? A SPEAR! Considering the scout’s huge stamina reserves, you manage to kill a person and retreat exactly at the moment when reinforcements run up to him.
In general, I VERY recommend this build, if you do not arm yourself with it on an ongoing basis, after all, I know that the scout is … specific, then at least try it. Use the cloak to the maximum, if it’s hard for you, you can replace the accelerated recovery with a large bag.
Have a good hunting.
