Meh, anything can happen in pubs. I’ve lost to no-name players before when I wasn’t taking the match seriously or playing carelessly.
I almost lost to lukeskywhiskers the other day in pubs too because I played a bit sloppily.

Btw why is everyone rocking Bionic these days?
Like I either see Hunter Potators, Viking/Valk Axe or Bionic.
Bionic has basically infinite cloak/thermal vision. You regenerate energy even if you are using any of them.
Already had a few rage quitters rocking disciplined, which basically means you will never find the body (as if we cared) because the class doesn’t make noise and doesn’t run out of energy while cloaked

I still don’t like it as I prefer movement speed and the ability to sprint for longer times (like Scout in FT). I feel more limited by Pred movement than for gear/weapon/energy. So, while “is cool” to be able to plasma spam and cloak indefinitely, I don’t consider it a “selling point” for me. Valk is still my girl. Shame that I fucking hate how she looks
