The original Predator suit was totally different, like a giant bug man.
The original actor cast as the Predator was JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME.
He didn’t like the suit and they found an actor taller than Arnold, which made the fight scenes more realistic.
I’m glad things happened the way they happened. The original Predator costume was really bad. If Van Damme didn’t drop out, and the Predator design didn’t change, then we wouldn’t have the Predator as we know it.
I totally forgot about this until I just watched the movie on DVD. The picture of him sitting next to Carl Weathers was in the special features photo gallery.
I also love the fact that they used a monkey in a orange suit to capture the Predator’s movement in the trees, needless to say that didn’t worked well.
By the way, I hope in the future they make a movie/game showing a Predator hunting the proto-predator and have him jumping around and using kung fu against the Predator.
This. Everything turned out perfectly. Big Arnold fan since i was a kid. Actually my dad and i watched Predator when i was 5 lol. Didnt care about PG back then. And ive loved Predator since then aswell.
Same here. My pops would take me to see any movie he wanted to see. Predator, Robocop, Beverly Hills Cop. I think we saw each of these multiple times.

I just watched the first two the other day. Just finished binging Beverly Hills Cop trilogy. I think I’m going to start Back to the Future Trilogy today 😁

I’m a kid of 80s and 90s. I’m so glad I was able to grow up during that time. The movies, the music, and the people were much better back then.
Yeah those were awesome times. Im a late 80s 90s kid, and those were good times man :(. But life is pretty good now too xD. So much less drama back then, and parents werent afraid to let their kids out.
