As much as I love Alien franchise in general, I don’t like that game. I’ve seen the gameplay, seen all vids and it’s just not my type of the game. It’s a multiplayer with bots, which honestly isn’t my thing.
i know man, i’mhope some shit looks gruesome like there is a gore factor that might make this game cool as fuck…i could be severely disappointed or severely overwhelmed. But altogether there could be some impressive environments. The whole franchise is based off of very disgusting things…if they dont do it justice, then they will severely fail the franchise. I mean lore is lore, but you can get that from reading a book.
I’ve spent too much money on this game, thinking, oh look, finally another Predator game after 10 years, just to realise that this game is another quick cash grab, with zero fucks given to it by the devs.
I had the same experience with Star Wars The Old Republic MMO and I’ve left that game after 6 years of playing it regulary. All they cared about is making money with zero effort, year after, I still pop on their forums to see if there’s anything new going on, guess what, it’s the same old story.
Environments look great in A:FTE, I was pleased to see the Engineers buildings, suits etc. It seems that one of the missions is done on one of their worlds. I’d rather read a book or comic (which I have done with Predator/Alien and Star Wars) than buying a game that I don’t like.
The last game that was decent was Alien: Isolation, which came out like 7 years ago.
It’s gonna take some time before we actually get good Pred/Alien game.

I have no problem with buying games, I’ve bought a decent number of them, hell I was paying 15$ per month for SWTOR subscription, 'cause I liked that game and I like Star Wars in general.
Hate that mmo they made Revan one of the most powerful and influential characters in Legends look like a bitch…😭

Obsidian actually gave Revan a backstory, as with other chars in KOTOR 2, unlike BioWare in their 1st game.
I was playing SWTOR since 2014, I’ve been there when Revan’s expansion dropped, they literally used Revan to milk their playerbase, and BioWare ruined him, all because of their MMO which failed, 'cause of stubborn dev teams that never listened to their playerbase.
Even now ppl are complaining about BioWare not listening to their feedback and the same shit has been going on for 10 years. EA bragged last year how they earned 1B from that MMO.
The sad thing is, every penny that we have put into SWTOR, went into EA’s other projects and the trend continiues till this day.

it was nightmarish…only those capable of understanding the real message of that film understand what mankind is up against.
Prometheus had some message, posed some questions, but Covenant was str8 up stupid.

If anyting it was a monster flick/ slasher film/ haunted house flick with underlying concepts which mankind should understand…that is the consequences of curiousity, or having the power of fire- the power to create or re-create, the power of domination-lest it be thwarted by alien things.

It is nno-crossplay. so…yeah. i dont know why they would do that though. I guess when each platform sees themselves, they will get more concise stats or at least narrowed down.
I doubt it would make a difference. If they dont’ have the player numbers, then its just going to be so narrow and tight that it just should not make a difference what platform they are on.
My only take is that they will release things so specific to platforms like a special weapon type or class that people will get start to get jealous of platforms.
Damn well i have friends on the xbox so i can kill bugs with them till they add cross play for pc
