Many times I find myself in need of jumping somewhere specifically without using leap and when I press jump, I automatically jump to the nearest tree to me although I’m not getting the prompt nor am I looking at it. Any ideas of how to JUMP properly without initiating the climb?? :)
I want a dedicated button to climb trees. I NEED one.

There is an option in keybinds to bind just jump to a key, at least on PC. Not sure if you are PC or not though?

I’m on PC yes, and Jump = Space. And also jumps on trees automatically.
I am on PC mind you, but looking at the controller mapping in game and I am not positive but it looks like you can do this in the custom mapping section.
I think if you can disable all of the Predkour related buttons and re-assign as desired you can get the affect you are looking for?
Like I said I am on PC so it could be different for PS4, but I hope this helps.
I imagine it’s a bug because I’ve had this since 1.10, only thing we can do is wait and see for a patch

Everything’s a fucking bug in this game. I’m getting stuck everywhere in trees and between rocks and stuff, getting incapacitated and blocked progress when I start the healing process.
This is it. Gonna go silent. It’s clear no matter how many bugs there are, nothing’s gonna happen.
“Fixed an issue where the characters in the main menu cinematic would sometimes not appear” GEE. That’s so game breaking. Good thing they fixed this! Because the game itself… fuck the game itself.
