I discovered that the Jungle Hunter '87 has a huge energy consumption rate compared to the other classes. I compared the JH87 with the regular Hunter with no perks on both. Energy consumption rate time while cloaked from full to zero energy for JH87 was 38 seconds. The regular Hunter was 2 minutes and 7 seconds. Don’t know if this is a glitch or not, but I most definitely hope so.

That’s undeniable proof I’d say. Have you tested just the JH87 mask on a Hunter body just to see if maybe the mask is the culprit? Most likely it’s the Jungle Hunter class that’s just been overlooked while balancing before game launch. I do find it strange that the JH87 has its own class instead of just a different body option along with the female character model. Maybe there’s more to this class than we know.
I did test the JH87 mask on the regular Hunter, and it works as in intended. Got the same energy consumption time as the default regular Hunter in the video. So, the bug is in the JH87 model.
Makes sense. Good thinking to test that also. I still wonder if there’s other benefits to using the JH87 that we’re not aware of. There’s already the bomb laugh, I’m pretty sure that’s exclusive to JH87 (not positive). Maybe it’s time to fully test it. Jump height, jump range, running speed, noise levels, weapon accuracy and damage. Maybe the extra energy consumption is a balance to something like that. It’s worth a shot I think. I mean why would it have its own class instead of a just a character model swap?
I just hope JH87 is indended to have the same stats as the regular Hunter. 38 seconds in cloak is way too short of a time.
I agree. I’m going to try and test other aspects of JH87 to see if maybe the increased energy consumption might mean extra jump range or damage output. I doubt it and most likely just an overlooked bug, but I’m going to test it anyway just because I’m curious.
Illfonic please fix this! We want to use the Jungle Hunter but it’s stupidly weak right now. Just make it a skin for the Hunter class with the same stats.
Probably not a good idea, because then you would have to applay same body skins and armour paints as the hunter calss. As you can seet its not only armour model that differes from regular hunter - its also body model and a completly different, unique skin pattern. Also snout is different. I can understand why its a seperate class, its just not compatibile with regular assets
It’s fine that they made it another class as it’s a completely different model. But the stats of the class for energy consumption is terrible in comparison to the basic Hunter class. Essentially we’re unable to use the skin we all pre-ordered for unless we want to be a quick kill for the Fireteam.
For us hardcore fans of the first movie (I actually love Predator 2 equally as much), they should just make the Jungle Hunter '87 a skin that you can use on all three classes. Not just the Hunter.
That would have been so awesome. I just adore the Stan Winston original design. And also the City Hunter from P2 (which I’m REALLY looking forward to as future content hopefully).
I had an issue where the JH87 stamina would regenerate very slowly after a leap. has anyone else had this problem?

This probably explains why I thought there was a big change in energy consumption since the trial, because I’ve been using the 87 predator the entire time.
tbh… you will be quick killed by FT with any class at this stage XD Gameplay is completly broken at its very core…
I’ve actually noticed that slow stamina regen bug too now even after update 1.06. I don’t know yet how to replicate it though.
I hope they fixed it.
