At this point, pretty much. Not taking in consideration if he knows how to ambush and he’s actually using all of his gadgets during the game, right? I’m saying this because all predators melee at some point during the match.

I mean traps are useless because of Sixth Sense.
Net gun is useless because a knife slash from your buddy cuts you out straight away.
Plasma caster doesn’t even do enough splash damage and by the time he goes for another shot I’m max health from using the syringe.

If everyone would be using sixth sense , yes, but not all people do, and some still don’t see the traps. Still they can play as good crowd control mechanic. I mean, there’s excuses and excuses and so on, but after all , all items are usable in their own way. I don’t care if they see my trap, good, now I know what “road” they can take. They can slash the net gun? then I’ll trap someone who’s not as close to the others. I mean, just don’t use items in a spammable way ,use them strategically.
Everything has it’s purpose , find it. Don’t spam them and think they’ll always work.
I’ve had soooo many encounters with predators who spammed the net gun or the plasma cannon, like constantly, and we all escaped the net because they weren’t doing anything else, and we found a way to avoid the plasma cannon at some point, and they eventually died because of it ( I have to mention that they were really, really trying) . What were they waiting? For us to die because of net? Heck no.
This is just my opinion. Don’t spam weapons , use them wisely.
( Not to mention every Predator that I sniped because they were literally standing on the rooftops all the time, trying to kill us with the plasma cannon/bow, this happens way to often and then they are asking how’s possible they died [literally heard one in-game, saying that the game is trash because he shouldn’t have died – we were fighting for 6 straight mins – , while he was shooting at us from the same spot the whole time]. Change tactics man, don’t spam plasma from a rooftop all the time because it’s working for a time, but not for long, unless people cycle through tactics )

Getting tired of the meta shifting towards overweight Predators running in swinning a combi-stick it ending up in those stupid knife uses by the FT. There are serious balance issues in this games - it is truely the Beserker and FT-knife meta atm.!
Would be fun to see the game more balanced towards making other weapons use and classes equal interesting options, only influenced by the play style preference (don’t tell me that every Pred-player’s wet dream is running in with a Beserker and combi most of the time!).
I know there a some skilled Pred-players who are working with the other classes - thanks guys and girls for spicing it up! Unfortunately I run into way too few of those skilled players!
For me to hang in there playing I would like to see more varied game play, and with the current balance of weapons, perks and classes it grows tiresome real quick!

yep im sick of it too because theirs literally nothing else a predator can do but that so im like this again … fuck me lol. if they buff his other arsenal weapons i bet they wont whale in any more like that hopefully not! and make preds health higher and not such a bullet sponge make him more viable
Lmao same. I always take a 2XL or a shotgun (depends on how I feel in that moment) in case I’m dealing with a Berserker.
This game should not be like the movie, its a video game, be releastic… no parry, fireteam is just trash and destroyed every game. What they should do is to nerf its damage.
I think people asking for super hard nerfs on the knife are going a little to far, however I have three load outs, a melee focused one, a distance load out, and a mix of both. Sometimes I want to run Smart disk and the bow other times I want to run the combistick and the elder sword. I don’t want to be forced to always have a long range weapon in my load out.
But again I do not think the knife is that bad, I rarely have a situation where I get parried to long. I do not mind if the meta becomes the predator has the bow and combistick, as long as it does not become “the predator will never win unless he has the bow and combistick in his loadout” Which I think the game is nowhere near becoming.
Wait really? I may have to look into it i thought it was pretty accurate. My buddies and i play custom games, and one of them plays scout with a bow and pretty much never misses us, especially the headshots. Holy shit the headshots, he told us the key is to lead the shots.
P.s were all on ps4 so keyboard and mouse isnt the reason his aim is impeccable.
It takes time to get use to when first using it you will miss alot of shots if you know how to use it its good
