Just curious if it's worth returning

I see this glorious forum of memes and buff/nerf predator/FT hasn’t changed at all in over a year but was curious about the game itself. I see new weapons and such have been added but really just wondering if it’s more of the same BS as it was during release without any significant changes. If anyone could share the state of the game that would be appreciated.

I vividly remember queue times as predator being 40ish minutes sometimes only to play a 5 minute match so I admit I want to avoid downloading the game again, and waiting in the queue only to be disappointed.

Most of the bugs are fixed and the game runs pretty smoothly on my end of things for a second wave ps4, along with the overall fun I have with friends, & solo playing both the fire team and pred

Queue times are better at least 3-10 minutes for Pred. FT has way more tools and tactics it can use. It’s…close to balance, still needs some tweaks. I don’t know your expectations so I can’t say anything as to what changes you’re looking for gameplay wise.

I’d say it’s worth checking out

First hand experience is much more meaningful

Thanks for everyone’s input, I’ll give it a shot. My main concern was a lot of the exploits/meta that existed which just never seemed to be getting addressed like using macros to instantly break out of a net, FT bum rushing pred with knives due to how overpowered they were at the time, and playing the game in low resolution making it very easy to spot the predator while cloaked while making smoke grenades sizzle and utterly useless.

Queue times have dramatically reduced from a year ago.

Not really, but some weapons are just flat out better/worse than others.

They still use macros, but it’s slightly less effective.

They might not bum rush with knives, but you’ll probably get melted by guns.

Don’t even get me started about graphic settings. On the bright side, a cloaked predator is completely invisible beyond 50m even while moving.

There’s still that, you can work around them with time and practice for the most part

Devs addressed this. You can still use a macro but you’re not getting out any quicker.

Knives are still deadly but easily avoided. Don’t ever get close when they’re bunched up

Still debate about graphics. I play on both console and PC and low graphics don’t help me, but that’s me. Smoke grenades are useless, period, and @SkooLBoY_SkePtiK covered the cloak

I’m being serious. There’s no reason for them to be so shitty. First of all, they should cover the entire area around them in smoke, and secondly They should completely disrupt and confuse the AI.
