Just curious

After this recent patch I noticed the net gun prevents players from running or jumping. But they can break out in 3 seconds I timed it.

Maybe I’m bias but it doesn’t seem like the no running and jumping justifies an 8 second loss of net control.

I’ve never liked the net, always found it to be a waist of time because it was too easy to break out of even before the nerf and always opted for damage dealers instead.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in and see what you guys think. Is losing 8 seconds worth the added run jump blocker?

It’s worse then that they can still move and jump but they are slowed. So FT figured out pretty quick it’s better now to stay still as when you don’t move you break out of the net faster. It was always faster when you stand still but not fast enough to prevent serious damage from the Pred. Now though you have a better chance at escaping serious damage by staying still to break free.

It’s really been trash imo I love the idea but it’s really bad lol only useful when 2 fireteam members are left in my opinion if I were u I’d run spear throw with elder sword cuhz it’s a devestating damage combo and for ranged just use your shoulder cannon lol

It’s better for the FT. For the Pred not so much.lol They lowered the requirement to get out of the net so if I’m FT I can often times break out fast enough to prevent serious damage and if they net and attack someone else I can usually break out fast enough to prevent the Pred from seriously damaging my team member. So it’s less effective then it was before in my opinion.
