Just played air strip hands down the best map in the game. Not to bing not to small, lots of open space with the plane warehouses and farm area. Illfonic did a good job with this one.

My first impression was that it seemed as huge as the leaked video. Didnt really have many interactables, and more or less flat with one or two rolling hills. Lots of buildings to hide behind walls but zero interiors.
Its still a great place for newbies to get gud on since there is no coverage for the FT, and you could probably spot them from afar without thermal.
In terms of design though, its nothing to sneeze at.
I like the fact you can walk in to the freaking plane XDDDD

It wuld make a great easter egg hunt, if there ever be easter eggs to hunt…:( apart from that the least interesting thing in the map is probably the most interesting. The buildings have sky lights with openings. And there is a big cyclindrical pipe you can walk through.
Are the missions objectives any longer than on other maps?
i think so. they take forever not only for pred to get to you but to get to the next objective.
Some open clear areas for attempts at your life…so i guess this sets itself apart from the other maps.
So far, its not high on the rotation in Hunt.

That’s good to hear. Kinda artificially lengthens playtime, at least until we know the map by heart
I still think the map is way too open and the landscape is too flat, this is a sniper’s paradise as you can see through the whole map from almost every direction. There are too few obstacles to zig-zag between once you need to get away as the Predator.
The boar spawn on top of the hangars was a bit funny and generous though.

Can’t wait to bait a Pred in the wrong door of the plane, with a friend in the other side… space fish in a barrel.
