Just so we are clear

There seems to be a huge ramp in folks discovering these exploits that have either festered over the course of the games 2 year lifespan and also have been here since day 1. (Addressed/ fixed or not)

Folks have taken it upon themselves to continue to use these said exploits/glitches and STILL continue to use them till this day… But are blaming illfonic for not fixing it, while STILL using said exploits daily in game, instead of trying to play the game as it should be played?

Just wanna make sense of this.

TBH, and I speak for myself, is mostly just out of boredom.

I may play an assault duelist with dual pistols one match, and a scout knife only build the next, specially with a full squad.

With 3 potatoes, yeah, I’ll exploit the shit out of the game because the damage on this game is too high to put up a “good fight” against a brain dead pred player in a 1v1 situation, which happens 90% of the time on pubs.

I still find myself using the assault thick skin owlf training class more than anything else even on pubs with potatoes

On Dante that loadout is hilarious

I mean people reported all this stuff so long ago and Illfonic choose to do nothing about it.

Even without exploits, there is so much stuff in the game approved by Illfonic that is already unfair and people use it anyways.

Pred mains will justify exploiting bugs or glitches due to the “unfairness” towards pred players, because fireteam is so op blah blah blah…

By that same logic, ft mains abusing these bugs or whatever you wanna call them is no different than these hypocrites justifying putting whatever spec they want on their predators.

If it’s not intended, just leave it alone, it’s that simple.

Now, if you claim you’re doing it because you just feel like it and don’t give a shit what people think, more power to you, at least you’re being honest and not hiding behind a fake façade of being this righteous player when you’re just a scummy cheater/exploiter.

Honest cheater > scummy cheater

Would you rather have someone tell you the truth whether you like it or not, or lie to your face.

I would like the truth, but if the dishonest action is still performed it just seems that then theres no shame. At least when you’re lying about it, you are perhaps ashamed and maybe there’s guilt and a way to realize there a problem.

Wtf are you saying bro? Ok, so let me just be a thief, scammer, criminal and when I’m standing in front of the judge I’ll justify my actions by claiming I was ashamed to come clean so I kept doing it.

You might as well create another account or change your gamer tag, have fun cheating, and because you feel guilt or shame don’t tell anyone.

Makes no sense.

I prefer honesty, at least I know who and what I’m dealing with.

Not like that. Guilt or shame might lead you out of the waters. Otherwise you just keep doing it because you already decided that it’s fine.

Wouldn’t you say that a person who does a crime/dishonest act openly (not fearing or ignorant of consequences) is more problematic then the one two realizes the consequences but still takes a risk?

Well, considering it’s a video game and there is really no repercussion for doing such things, people will just keep doing it without thinking anything of it. But the whole point of my last sentence was that honesty goes a long way, at least I can trust that someone will always tell the truth regardless of how harsh it is, that’s all.

I get that, but perhaps weer applying this too broadly. Can’t compare a criminal and a gamer in tbis respect.

I still think that cheating and getting caught will do more for correcting a behavior that just doing it without regard. When you’re a dishonest cheater, you at least realize that there is a problem and there’s one less step in the process towards correction.

No, an honest thief will tell you if given the chance he’ll steal your wallet, giving you the heads up so you make sure you are extra careful. A dishonest thief will wait for the opportunity, steal it and you’ll never know who did it.

There are no people like that (honest thief), unless they are doing it for a show. One case might be when the person knows you won’t be able to do anything about it (mafia/ corrupt politician)

Well, maybe the analogy is not suited for this issue, but no matter how you slice it, being dishonest is not a good trait.

I agree about the analogy. Dishonest is definitely worse than honesty, but when you extend it to criminal behaviour it gets complicated. I’m am being hypothetical in my statements, but it sounds like an interesting topic to explore.

Some people call it skill and combo’s.
Like when you break an animation and shoot with your combi and arrow in the same second.

I guess throwing 30 grenades in a matter of seconds is also a skill. 😆

It’s ok when they do shit that’s not intended, but when others do it, or it’s done to them they bitch and cry about it.

Like they some special to be dictating what’s fair or right lmaooooo…

I swear these fools be tripping on some shit.
