Katana balance

Just an idea I’m throwing out here, could be a suggestion if the community likes it. No disrespect please.

Many agree that katana is in a bad place. How would everyone feel if it got a big bleed buff? No more damage or animation changes, just double or even triple bleed on like the second hit only. Or something like that.

I’m just looking for creative ways to make a cool weapon more viable again. Thoughts?


So buff the axe

Idk, I feel like it simply needs either a 5 point increase on its damage numbers or faster light attacks. One or the other, definitely not both. It’s also incredibly easy to parry, so that’s a big problem associated with it.

It needs better tracking and I agree with buffing light attack points

What really needs to happen is a rework of the entire melee system. But that’s not going to happen.

Realistically, they’re going to increase the speed of attacks in an attempt to lower parry success. They did exactly that with the Hook variant for the War Club. Who’s to say they won’t do it again
