In real life you don’t die of one bullet. You’d be amazed of how long a human being can survive even with a bullet on the head. Sure, most headshots means instantaneous death, but some lucky headshots will have people not only continue to move around, but survive if taken to a hospital soon enough. Most bullets to the body will not kill you instantly and you are more likely to die from bleeding out than from the gunshot itself.

To be precise, 66% of people survive gunshot injuries in the USA… and that statistic includes suicides.

Like literally… 3,554 people annually survive an attempted gun suicide… a suicide… a fucking bullet to the head at point blank range… and 3,554 people manage to survive…every year

No not really. I still enjoy the game as it is right now. I think more content and bug fixes is the way to go.

As for the Katana I think there should be two blade types one that does more damage to support maybe pred uses the laser to heat it up.

The weaker FT classes would fare the same when I really think about it its those tanky builds that are a pest.

If predator can laser up the katana for heavies ;)

Except bon of the updates have drastically changed the game

It’s all the same mechanically because the updates don’t change anything

And that’s been consistent for over a year

lol its the same game with fluff classes added & specializations to try to push things back to the power they had at launch.
except combistick is still terrible unless you’re in clash one shotting people.

At most you have specializations but that just ended up just being damage boosts and modifiers to already existing mechanics

you caught @JelouGaming on one of his screeching bipolar days its not hard to see nothing was really added to the game other than maps and stat stick characters with the same pre-existing mechanics (but elevator! but wrist launcher!) Then we got caves and indoor segments that are one sided and terrible to play in compared to the default maps.

oh yeah and the low effort asset flip that is Clash.

don’t worry the reskinned smart disc on the new filler pred class will be the game changer

this time for sure

game has 70 players on steam they’ll still be here defending their carrot on a stick because they put 5k hours in when everyone else wisened up and left or acknowledges there’s something wrong with the gameplay loop.

As for the actual topic, melee will never be good unless its reworked. Treading the line between braindead and inferior to use. The only thing people will even pick in this category is going to be whatever has the highest initial hit damage, and thats still in Clash due to the limited ammo and damage buffs lol, and FT distracted fighting other FT.

What genius decided melee for pred should just be a string of button mash animations? Then you need a full mash combo to accomplish what two hits from bow or caster would and can be stunned at any point lmao.

They wanted to get by putting melee in without an actual melee system.

Oh just play premade? Why don’t you go do that in customs? Let me tell you why, because you want to keep the streams of noobs in randoms so you have something to stomp. Again, why don’t you play premade teams in customs?
Let me tell you something. If you would make 2 ques for preds to que into, a que that they will play against premade teams and they get a 30% boost to everything and a que against randoms with a 30% nerf to everything, 99% of preds would hit the second que and the rest of 1% would sit hours in ques because that’s how little premade teams are there.

People like you want to keep randoms but balance around full premade teams of 4 skilled players because you want easy games. The good predators have an almost impossible time to lose when hitting quick play, decent predators have win rates of 70%-80% at least. Bad predators are here complaining they need buffs. More so when melee in this game is the most easy crap to do on a controller and stomp most people (by most predators since its THAT easy). Melee needs a complete reword.

Pred ques are already garbage and you want to go after those who keep it even as down as it is… What do you think its going to happen when randoms can’t win at all?

Finally, I am not the one here complaining and asking to balance the game around my problems, YOU ARE! The game is already balanced fine enough for both sides. The play with friends fix you gave me, I gave you just before and you ignored it, you can set whatever rules you want there. Make yourself completely OP. Have fun with that.

PS. If randoms are to be ignored in balance, just remove solo que and allow only 4 man premade and balance around that, then the second this is introduced the game is dead because the vast, vast amount of people are like me that hit the que from time to time when we get home from work.

Oh and I still don’t get the point you are trying to make, that it takes no skill to play FT? Elaborating on your point works better then pulling randoms lines from my text.

If you have pure balancing then it is no one else’s fault for your loss but yourself akin to dark souls where every hit you take is your fault

Have skewed balance and it’s the games fault you loss even if it is a close match

I’ve already told you, a skilled based matchmaking is going to complete KILL the que for anybody not a potato predator. Yes, that would fix a lot of problems but its not compatible with the population of this game.
Ranked mode would have the same issues. It would see a bit of play at first with the little hardcore players we have but then nothing.
I am accusing you of it since you want to keep things as they are (because what you said and I’ve addressed you know full well can’t happen in this game) and buff the predator even more.

If you don’t play anymore I don’t even know why you want to chance the balance? This will effect all the players that actually still play it. Also this game is pretty well balanced for what it is.

Randoms can’t win? that is funny considering how much I actually do win in randoms. Randoms win enough to keep people playing. I am sure the devs have logs.

Balancing around the 1% of the playerbase as you lose everyone else is not pure balance unless you have skil lbased matchmaking and leagues to separate people. More so when you consider one side, predators DON’T HAVE THE ISSUE WITH POTATOES! What you demand is going to effect the vast majority of people and only one side. You know, if we balance around the best and looking at what Sharpy can do, I think we need to nerf the predators.

Balancing around the matchmaking is not balancing around me. Its balancing around the design of this game and its limitations.

Have you considered what will happen if we balance around what you want? Here is one example, I see a PC predator, I look at my team, I see 3 PS FT member, I quit, they quit, back for the predator in 10-15 more minutes of que. How about when I enter the lobby and I see new people? How about when I see good predators and I know I have potatoes on my team? Get ready for quitting players in the lobby. You also don’t seem to get that you need the vast majority of people to keep using that que or the game dies.

Yes, if you think playing with friends fixes your problems, you have custom games to fix your problem and not kill the game for the vast majority of people.

No man, there is an element you refuse to accept, one side, predators are not effected by the randomness of the que, this NEEDS to be taken into account. Its a bonus they get from the lobby of the game man. I would not mind they implementing certain bonuses for the predator IF he is matched against a premade team but that’s it. Again, the predator already has an advantage from the lobby.
If I have pure balancing where one side has no need to take into account for random people then its not fair for the side that NEEDS to take into account random people. If this was 4v4 FPS type of thing it would be different but its NOT. One side has at all times a premade since its a team of 1.

As I said, right now decent predators have excellent win rates and for good predators, I really don’t even see them losing in random matches. I think that is good enough, let both sides win.

Either I took the full charge plasma shot or the crate did. I’ve had crates exploded in my face and not go down. If I did take the full shot, then why did the crate exploded? It takes two or three uncharged shots to explode one, how could it had exploded with splash damage?

It makes no sense. Fully charged plasma needs a nerf ASAP. It is way to strong with certain builds. Damage overall needs to be nerfed on both sides. The whole percentage buff system is just broken, because it makes the most powerful attacks even more powerful. They need to be a fixed amount of health points, not a percentage.
