So currently, the moment you enter a game the stats class of the Predator is revealed. It is kept hidden in the lobby for good reason.
The problem is we see alot of people leaving the match right after the FT hits the ground.
My solution could deter alot of people force quiting at the sight of their worst fear.
I’d say ONLY reveal the class information when the predator makes a first strike (could be anything from a bow strike or a cannon strike or wristblade slice).
Only a attack will work for this, as spotting is too difficult and one could just avoid spotting throughout the game making the reveal useless.
Moreover, just viewing a predator through a lens is useless as one can just use a 10xscope and find him a mile a way, and can’t do anything about it–in essense its’ class is still up in the air.
Another reason to do this is this:
Let’s say a new DLC gives us 10 different new classes and anxious FT members want a first look or battle with the new Samurai class. Guess how many people will only play games just to see it? Guess how many will leave matches knowing well ahead that Samurai Pred aren’t in the match.
This is probably a big deal because new classes means compicated decisions for matchmaking.
