Keyboard Input Lag [PC]

I’m getting a significant Input Lag from my Keyboard since the 2.16 was released.
All keyboard inputs are lagging at east half a second behind. The Mouse is not affected.

I got it solved by turning down all my graphics from high to medium and shadows to low, but the game looks nasty as hell now and is not enjoyable to play.

Gotta love that bright sun 🌞 in the jungle 😎

Reason to that is… them porting over Console game engine to PC… hence why even high ends pcs cant maintain 60 fps on all maxed out… like i dont think even a 3090 can run smooth 60 fps on all cinematic at 1080p… lmao…

The less FPS u have the more input lag you will have btw… its just how games and hardware work btw, like the more frames per second the game runs the more responsive it feels for u and allows it to be.

They need to bring a really big redesign just for PCs lol…

My game runs smoothly with shadows on medium I get around 90fps.

I’ve had about 50-70 fps average before turning it down. Absolutely unneccessary that I need to lower it. My fps were ok for me, but losing all knife fights is not… :-/

50 FPS… Please gimme 50 FPS…

I sometimes have a “slow motion” effect - unfortunately, the only one in slow motion then is me…

My guess is, that it either is due to an overpowered CPU/GPU or/and due to a loss of packets, which means: due to internet connection problems.

The latter is insofar the more probable, as not all PS4 Pro player seem to experience said slow motion thing and the router of my neighbor seem to use a bad DNS…

Who knows… Does anybody experience said slow motion effect sometimes in hurry-scurries too?

I used to experience the graphics lag on base ps4 , then I got a pro and it was doing a bit of the same . But the frames cap update was added and I tore it apart and cleaned it from top to bottom , changed the thermal paste , and now the only issue I have is my Internet. Which sucks in my area but a simple dns change can help a little, I tried to change my nat type from 2 to 1 but I haven’t had much time to get into it

That exactly is the underlying reason I was suspecting - as I also have some nasty effects due to bad DNS in normal internet use! Thanks man, first really helpful hint here! :)

I will try to tackle this issue as soon as I have a little more spare time…

There are open zone ones , I found one that boosted my speed from 24mbs to 29mbs , not a huge difference but its better than nothing . Considering I was told from my provider that it wasn’t possible to get over 25mbs in the area 😁 but now its really bad . They are throttling it like crazy .

I always use an ethernet cable aswell
