Multiple times I have killed a fire team member after they called for reinforcements but seconds before they arrive and then boom the one I just killed gets respawned. Next time I won’t claim them until reinforcements arrive I guess… any thoughts?

Yep try to time it. If you down one and you see the reinforcement symbol appear, just leave em there.
I’ve gotten to the point where I just let them get reinforcements. I get to kill 3 of them again, then run off acting like I’m healing. Then come back and take their spines. I’ll do this for as long as they are willing.
