Kinda feel that Support should get less over all use of their gears

and hear me out.

what is the weakness of support?

hes got Health just enough perk points to get the ones you need and you can take all the healing items with you making it take no skill to play as him.

oh your hurt? press a button undo everything the predator did.

predator killed 3 of you? hold a button on this raido undo it.

see my point? i dont agree with things in the game to undo what the predator does.

it would be better if they made it where if you come back you have half the max health you had befor that way the predator still hits the fire team pretty hard and i think support flat out needs too lose some of his gear. the power to take Nades needles and first add packs is so bs its pretty much undoing the update.

now for you fire team mains out there this sounds like your wet dream but what do you think will happen if you let this be the meta?

thats right were going right back to berserker meta

Weakness of support? Lower stamina, very limited perk options, generally slower. They have high health and a lot of gear slots but they can have maybe one good combat, stealth or utility perk and then one trash throwaway perk and that is it. They can still have ok perk builds but they aren’t amazing.

For your suggestion… nope. Not only is that not even sport for any decent Predator it’s just downright insulting not to mention pointless on the FT aside.

Undoing the update? Oh so suddenly a support being… a support with much more limited restocks and being kind of the only one that can carry both health and ammo is undoing the game’s progress? Still gets one less of each of the supply bags and far fewer are scattered around the map. Sooo… what?

Right because that means anything? just hold hands and win yea you cant win in 2 mins doing that but its still a 100% you will win so whats the point

What the hell are you talking about? Oh. You don’t believe a slower target is easier to land charged shots on than a faster one? Yeah they have 25 more health a fucking assault, like 40
If they have thick skin and then they have much more limited supplies and basically no other notable perks. And you know ho much good that health does? One spear chuck and instead the one tap follow up with the claws they get a second tap maybe. Or they still go down to the leap smash following it. It’s not all that difficult to kill a support. And those supply bags can be shot and destroyed with the PC. Soooo what’s your point again?

yea its easyer but they also have oh i dont know MORE HEALTH??? as in oh i got hurt move behide this building and press heal boom undid that then light up the predator if he attacks he dies if he goes to heal he uses ONE of his 3 heals and boom the fire team did dmg to the predator and the predator didnt do shit too the fire team

You mean kinda like, “Oh I got real hurt let me use this medkit in the ground. Oh no the Predator leap smashed me and now I am down!”

Something like that? Yeah. It’s not an issue. I like how you framing the very concept of healing as unfair as well. Berserker has a lot more health than a Scout so obviously the Berserkers needs to be nerfed and have less heals too right? Isn’t it unfair that they can leap away during Second Wind to get a second shot after they were killed?

Your frustration in taking down supports is not justification to call for such a massive nerf as that reinforcement bit where even the support would be one shot with half the Predator weapons and the less beefy classes would be practically one taps even with just claws. That would totally defeat the point of being brought back.

Doesnt deal enough to kill you and the “blind” isnt much a blind it makes it brighter for sure but i can see just fine and it doesnt last long enough for it to matter your still stuned form using it witch makes Zero sense at all. and dude if your trying to make the argument that predator holds more options then the fire team. im sorry to tell you, but theres something REALLY wrong with you. we should take you back to 2nd grade reteach you simple math skills because last time i check 2/6 isnt equal the predator has a choice let them win the game or try and they win the game the fire team has LOADS of options Nades shot guns lmg’s mini guns sniper rifles assault rifles there all good and work great. but the predator with this “High tec weapons” needs to land 4-5 blows to down one guy? or 2 with the bow? how does that make any sense if i shot you irl with a bow like that where im ment to be like 4x stronger then the strongist human who ever lived and it takes me a full 3 seccounds to pull back an arrow to fire it that would hit you with enough force to go throw a truck yet i need two to down one guy.

how is that fair?

The leap smash drops about half even a support’s health. What are you talking about it doesn’t do much damage? Lol. And the mostly blind and slow effector has even with your momentary pause after the smash is enough for you to lunge out with your claws to down him and/or finish the job. I know how powerful that shit can be as I use it fairly often and have seen it used on me plenty of times. I think I know about exactly how much damage it does thank you.

If you think that was the argument I was making that would be because you missed the entire point of what I was saying. I was merely demonstrating the double standard here. No I obviously don’t think the Predator has too much at their disposal nor do I feel the Fireteam does. Well the Predator can it be gets those pig spawns were 6-8 pigs spawn in the same square yard and he kills them all and more appear there, that is pretty balls but that is more spawn logic than anything and it should be corrected.

But let’s try to tone this down and try to be a bit more calm about this. Let’s say worst case scenario: Full support team running gear head with medkits, syringes, ammo bags. They are at least competent and sticking close together. How do you deal with it? Well throwing the combistick you can shave most of their health off, smart disc if you are decent with it, charged PC shot and charged bow especially with headshot. That forces them to use a syringe or throw a medkit down. If they throw a medkit down and you have line of fire you charge a PC shot while they are healing and target the medkit and boom. You destroy the medkit and down the support, jump in, quick claim, jump out before anyone’s the wiser. Or you can smash him. If he uses a syringe you are more or less back to square one but they are gonna try to use medkits if you aren’t right on them so they can save those in close encounters. Yeah it is a bit of an uphill battle but it ultimately comes down to how the combat engagements pan out. It’s not terribly difficult to chip away at their health items but given that volume it could be an exhausting ordeal and if you are being particularly aggressive then Fireteams tend to linger in places even after completing that objective. At that point it is largely about pressure and opportunity, punishing mistakes or forcing their hands. They won’t be able to reach the next objective as easily so that also provides opportunity and if they take damage there they have to use their syringes or risk the medkit being used against them.

I am not saying it is easy or that it doesn’t put you at a disadvantage if you face a Fireteam like that and they aren’t bumbling retards. It does take longer to down them if you don’t get good shots in from afar or good spear throws in short range but there are still counters to it and weaknesses you can exploit because of that composition. They typically tend to use mini guns and RPD’s although not always which means they are gonna consume a lot more ammunition more quickly. It is pretty circumstantial but ultimately I see fairly few supports and even less so people running gearhead.

The support can be a pain in the ass and maybe there is room for more tweaking and fixes but the change you proposed is a bridge too far.

K first if i asked for the book i would payed for it.

2nd your just wrong the predator is ment to win 6 out of every 10 games thats the the blanced point i would prefer it to be 7 but thats just me.

form my testing you know where its at now?

the predator wins one out of every 30 games.

yea id say thats Fire team sided and when ALL of my matches have at least 3 supports normaly in video games when players spam one thing that one thing tends to be over powered or at least needs a tweet no you can White knight for your Fire team buddys and your self Fact of the matter is

its a FACT that fire team wins more then the predator

aslo Fact the predator is ment to be stronger then the Fire team and isnt

Ergo a nerf is coming cry and defend it all you want its happening

I actually think a viable strategy against that would be not to kill them. Keep downing them over and over, super aggressive and in their faces but constantly on the move. You down them they have to heal. You are aggressive they have to keep using ammunition. And they are slower so that gives you much more opportunity to be aggressive. Destroy their medkits every chance you get and even take the damage to do so. And kinda just starve them out. Assuming you don’t find a good chance to kill two in succession. But don’t kill them so they can’t get that resupply. Fuck with them and make it as painful as humanly possible.

Really? Then your testing methods are flawed. Because I have lost three matches as Predator in the last week. And I main scout. And one of those I was drunk off my ass and still killed three guys and the other was similar without the drink but a giant brain fart lol. I only berserker when I feel like playing with my food and will actively allow reinforcements or I am trying out different load outs.

I don’t know what your testing but I think it is missing a huge variable and that is: Predator isn’t easy. Predator has a fairly steep learning curve and it’s difficult to even deal with rookie teams starting out. Having played a lot of Predator I see a lot of huge mistakes that Predator players make and watched those pro Fireteams on YouTube destroy a Predator and then act like there is no way to lose to them and the Predator is obviously inexperienced. So even Fireteams don’t understand what it takes to play the Predator and that influences their criticisms in a very negative way where they just write the entire role off.

I see lots of Predators taking lots of damage and just trying to push through it instead of falling back or bailing. I see a lot of Predators not accurately assess a Fireteam and heal too close despite their aggression. Lack of vigilance and awareness at times. Not keeping calm under pressure and making poor decisions because of it. I see a lot of that and unlike other Fireteams I don’t bash them for it because I understand and even when I hear them doing so I will hop on coms and defend the Predator because I understand it is not an easy role to play.

If you find it easy to win a 4v1 fight when you are still learning then maybe that is more of an issue of balance.

Cry

Here I tried to de-escalate and you decide, instead of being an adult, to resort to juvenile little antics and throw a tantrum? But I am the baby? Really?

personally I feel that all of the fast classes should have the more gear, and all of the slow classes the more perks.

(For both pred and fireteam)

It would probably be better.

never said your a babby but now im calling you a simp what you think the devs are going to give free dlc becuase you sucked their dicks on the forums?

for me i found the problem is too much healing for the fireteam too little healing for the predator

WIth pigs the way they are now, that has very much so changed. But it all really comes back to the match time. Its too fast still, so what healing both sides have, is way more than they should realistically.

I don’t where I got the impression you were making that statement. Just my imagination right?

And what the hell are you on about?

you cut out the other half of my post go back and re-read it

Are you denying that you said that? Or is some context there which shows somehow that making a statement like that isn’t gratituutiously derogatory?
