It seems that knife in fire team is bugged – deals more damage than predator’s wristblades and is able to pare a combistick attacks, blocking them completely, even combos – that’s a glitch, right? Bullshit like that cannot be intended by devs???

How a human can counter a melee attack from a yautja… a 2.5 m tall reptilian alien that breathes methane and sees in infrared??? How exactly do you imagine that sort of nonsens?
Just exactly the way it happens, the parry isn’t 100% guaranteed, and these aren’t just humans, their the elite of the elite.
This game is lore, canon… you canot pare a combistic attack that is wielded by a Yautja - end of. But on the other hand, in the lore you also cannot spot and highlight a cloaked predator, bring dead comrades back to life, heal your wounds in 2 sec to full health (while running)… also I can’t recall plasma caster not being able to penetrate foliage… so I guess its all fine!

No this game is a game, and games have to make compromises. They can’t always be perfect representations of the real world, or the fictional one they’re based on.
Since you didn’t answer my question I’ll ask it again. Do you think there should be no counter to Predators melee attack?
Because without some sort of counter for it, Berzerkers will just charge in and melee people to death with no effort. That doesn’t make for a fun GAME for the Predator or the Fireteams.

Disagree with you - this game is stated as canon, and you absoluetly cannot counter a melee of a Yautja and take him down with a knife, however I can see your point to. Truth is this game needs a lot of balance tweeks to work, right now you have predators being hunted with knifes quz their weaponry is UP as hell
It is a bit different, but in predators the yakuza beats the predator in a duel (you can call it a draw but the predator dropped first) with a katana, I know much longer reach and he parried the wrist blades not the combistick, silence why I said different but linda the same…ish.
There comes a point when a parry becomes way too much like it is now they may as well take melee weapons for pred out of the game entirely because they are officially pointless

I would shut up if the fire team had acces to katana swords… we are talking about a knife… its absurde
Agrre with you 100% I sugesst mayby knife can magically block yautja strikes, but only once or twice and then it brakes

The predator can literally get solo’d by one guy with a knife with the current way it is. Parries should probably take more stamina.

Kinda agree with you Knifes make no logical reason to deal more Dmg then guns would nerf again 10/10 the praying i think is fine in its design but i would make a cool down of 5 seconds each time you land a pray so you cant stun lock the Predator.
