L.A. MAP | PREDATOR 2

With references already in place in the game towards predator 2, when looking foward into the future of this game, i personally think you guys would benefit ALOT from Hunting Grounds by adding a new setting. Prime suspect LOS ANGELES.

The thing is this… there’s only so much of the jungle maps you can play through before it starts to blend in as is, and let’s be honest, Predator '87 is a good start to the launch game (no problem with the game; maps are supremely well designed), but the franchise was ALWAYS one that explored new jungles or CONCRETE JUNGLES.

Talking about the EVOLUTION and future of the game, with the OWLF tapes and the predator weaponry callbacks, you would definitely benefit from all of these small little references MANIFESTING into one big entity just by simply taking us to those locations in the tapes. LOS ANGELES is almost a no brainer, a city map which i’m sure a lot of predator fans and casual players alike are basically begging to see as a nice diversion from the jungle maps.

IMHO, The game Concrete Jungle, that I’ve never played, puts a bitter taste in my mouth being an avid gamer. The more distant PHG keeps from that scenerio should be kept unless they can blow it out of the water by staying away from PS2 box of gameplay tricks.

There is also that original AVP glory that PHG slightly reminds me of and the bitterness of old school doesn’t sit well with me. The more detailed we get with games the better the story/narritive and emmersion.

I think the framework of PHG still needs to prove itself by adjusting to peoples’ tastes well before it takes on modern cities and make it successful.

Depends on whose taste you’re trying to appease, doesn’t it. I don’t know bout AVP, as i assume you mean the original pc version (i have heared it was good); but what i can say is this; I own CONCRETE JUNGLE for xbox, and AVP for ps3 and platinumed Alien isolation on the ps4. Given all that PHG is no where near shit (friday13) If you want Illfonic to cater to literally everyones taste, it’ll never happen, as it shouldn’t. That idea has ruined games because unskilled man babies lost. the notion that PHG still needs work is a sound one, but adjusting to peoples taste to make it successful, no thx
