You are correct , it WAS a conversation, that turned into verbal assault. First on Illfonic then on myself. It is completely uncalled for.

If the auto getting logged out bullshit is not fixed in the next patch that’s it. game abandoned and I will file a claim with my credit card company for being sold a product that is not fit for use. (The ACCC wil also alow the reclaim because faulty products can not legally be sold in Australia)

There is no other way to make a statement that is brought to the attention of illfonc. You must create a post and include Courier in it. (they have no customer support email or contacts apart from the forum).

And I didn’t stalk you I just found that you personally respond to pretty much every thing I post. In a massively disproportionate amount. So I checked your profile.

A refund is a two party agreement, between customer and seller, to give you your money back. A charge-back is forced removal of money, and only initiated by a single party. Epic will ban you until the money’s returned so best of luck. It’s digital content and doesn’t have the same protections because you’ve already been given the key & exceeded the refund timeframe.

Why you would want a open collections action against you over a video game I don’t know but I hope it works out for you. And its taking money from Epic not Illfonic lol.

PHG was pitched as what was delivered. It has performance issues, which I agree need fixing but you make it sound like Illfonic did something shady here. Can you log on and play PHG? Congratulations you have completed the digital transaction, that’s it. It’s a service & leased product.
You don’t get to jump over the counter and steal money back from the movie theatre because you didn’t like the ending of the movie after you already sat there for 2 hours and a half. You don’t get free refunds from bethesda etc after 40 hours just because their games are buggy either. So there’s an apt analogy. Your accounts getting locked for a chargeback and you are now indebted to the company because the platform reserves that right.

Go for it i’m saying the rest of your EGS games past, present, and future are forfeit if you do so because they blacklist your bank account. Same applies to people who bought through Playstation Network.
That and having any kind of open collections action against you is a red flag whether EGS pursues it or not. You aren’t even stealing from Illfonic you’re stealing from EGS. But if you’re that hard pressed for $40 go for it just know you’re indebted with EGS for $40 because that’s how the world works.
I just think its a dumb thing to do over a video game.

@splifftor thanks for the tips on how to get the refund ball rolling. I may also do the same.

Normally I do not get or request refunds. Especially since I probably have many more hours into the game than one would expect from any other random AAA title at the same or higher cost. In short, I more than probably have gotten “my money’s worth.” To request a refund would be more in hopes that game companies see it as an indication of customer satisfaction.

Also just a gut feeling is that @Courier is not a specific person but more if a generic account shared by multiple people for the purpose of monitoring the forums.

I truly hope it doesn’t come to it…
I want this game to work. When it does work it is an awesome game.
Waiting to play for 3-4 hours to maybe start 4 games (if I’m lucky), and maybe finish 2 of them without the game shitting itself. I’m honestly over it. and I pre-puchased delux for AU$180.

I spend way too much time on the forums simply because I’m waiting to enter a game.

Enough is enough. Next patch better be something epic (not skins or crappy almost the same classes), actual gameplay fixes
