Last Man Standing - Mudding Up and Ice Cold doesn't help much

knuckingfuts, you’re WRONG!
CLEARLY WRONG.

The video in this very thread proves you’re wrong.

Not to mention Felaeris is one of the most well versed people I know in game mechanics, and doesn’t talk BS without knowing his facts.

Don’t be so rude.

I’m not but if we’re talking in terms of just muddled last man then yes they’re invisible but a smart predator would clearly think of that and delay the use of target iso to accommodate Mudd depletion even 15 seconds after you’ve muddled you’re ghosted by the raised body temp

https://youtu.be/czHfNglIL6c Cheers

But it’s not a total waste of time recording and uploading this. I learned something neat!
Really neat!
Check the 0:30 mark. His temperature -drops- the second his feet hit the water. That’s really cool. I used to bitch so much about Illfonic ignoring the water as a mechanic back when I did testing on Observant perk evasion as FT. This is neat.

[Edit: You can also briefly observe how the extra stamina burn of running and sprinting early in the video causes his temperature to spike further. This adds even better contrast when his feet hit the water to drop his temp again.]

His footsteps are visible in the water, that bugs me.
They should disappear or rather never appear in the water.

I’m not seeing the body temp difference at 30 seconds, I do see him passing behind leaves.
The mudding up does reduce his visibility during the healing section. He is still visible against the water but might be able to bush wookie.

Yeah. It’s weirder than that. IIRC, the footprints actually prefer to appear on the water’s surface and not in the mud or underwater at all. Also apologies. The timestamp starts around 0:28 for him going from red-hot to orange once he strafes into the water.

Ok, I caught the change on the arms and face at 28. Thank you for clarifying.

It’s funny it looks almost like an overlay with a grid at 1080 on my iPad. Like it adds interference rather than changing the colour.

🙏, I appreciate the information very much. That was two very clear examples in one video.

PS. Apologies are unnecessary, I really do appreciate you clarifying. Normally, people go off and get all like “why can you see it? Blind ass.” or “Just watch the video, numb-nuts!”. You are a breath of fresh air.

Glorious.
What I draw from these photos:
Ice Cold does seem to work across all cases, but the difference under Last Man Standing is fairly negligible. The highest effect, however, definitely appears to be while unmudded. That’s a stark contrast o.o
