Soon as this drops and the other triple aaa game ghost of…This game is going to die with waiting times for predator as the player base will shrink… I hope illfonic are not planning on dropping content once a month at least give us new modes etc in-between the dlc drop. Might not be a triple aaa studio but you’ve still got 3 studios and supported by Sony and epic and made plenty of sales to create content or employ more staff or buy another studio.

You know usually when people say “X Game will kill Y Game” or “X game is the Y killer just wait!” It’s atleast the same genre.
Atleast pick something remotely similar, not like this playerbase would neccessarily be interested in a soap opera ladder puzzle quick time event movie game where you kill the previous protagonists of the last soap opera ladder puzzle QTE game.
Woops I missed the part where regular monthly content wasn’t enough for you. Has to be weekly content to meet your needs. Good thing single player movie games have weekly content oh wait they don’t, you play through it once and then it’s over.

never played the first one, I dig the zombie end of the of world stuff but for whatever reason I never got excited about it. is it worth my time? just for reference im more into the romero night/dawn/day of the dead movies more than walking dead type :)

Such a tough choice; do I play a game where I mostly role play as a transexual woman who murders Joel, a beloved franchise character and has to hunt Ellie for a big portion of the game, all the while being patronised with leftist ideology OR do I play a game where I get to experience the feel of one of the greatest, most masculine, testosterone fueled action movies of the 80s and share awesome memories with cool and interesting new people…hmm, gonna be a tough call for some🙄🤣🤣 and let’s be real, people stupid enough to buy TLO2 will complete it within a few days, realise they’ve been totally duped and come back to Hunting Grounds to try and forget the nightmare they witnessed.
Predator Hunting Grounds will be fine, trust us 😊

Oh God no, it is not worth your time especially as you’re a fan of the true zombie stuff👍🏼 Save your money and watch the reviews over its first week, stock up on popcorn because it’s going to be spicy stuff. Just wait for it to be free, ignore the hype and inflated sales figures. That game is doomed.

yea, when these big AAA games come out its hard to know what good and just trash. been playing games since I was 5 back on the NES so I got some game cred lol. hate pandering crap but love a good story.
last AAA game I played was FF7 remake and while I had initial hesitations I really had a great time with it and look forward to more (prob not a popular opinion).
next game im looking forward to is paper Mario in a month but those games are just nice for me because they are so laid back. ill be hunting on this game for gooood long while :D

The first game was fire, the part when Joel is hanging upside down and Ellie has to cut you down while your protecting her by shooting at infected was the only time my heart was beating while playing a video game.
Joel was savage and raw as hell. I will buy The Last Of Us 2 because the first game was good, but i believe you play with Ellie mostly. Hopefully Joel will have some gameplay too.

I pre ordered Ghost of Tsushima i heard good things about it. I really like the Samurai culture and their code of honor.
Sekiro was the last best Ninja/Samurai game i’ve played. It took me blood sweat and tears for me to get the Platinum trophy for that game, shit is the hardest game ever.
I have Nioh 2 but haven’t beaten it yet, i can’t really get into it. Hopefully Ghost of Tsushima is better.

Magic of having Playstation had missed me because in my childchood was only pc and i only played on pc and one my friend (rest in peace) bought xbox 360 with two controllers and we have playing some gears of war, Halo 3 and fable 2 together
I have some chances to play on playstation 3 and 4 but for me controller PS3/PS4 isn’t comfy for my hands (analogs are too close)
But true is i played very often on xbox and i just get too comfy with controller and if i could have in childhood playstation i had difrrent opinion about controllers and even had some playstation
I saw some companies that making (i can say “hybrid” hehe) controller PS4 looking like Xbox but well i stayed on PC and xbox because Halo franchise and Gears of War

I loved the first game and I’m excited for this. Been avoiding as many leaks as possible. I preordered the special edition because I’m a sucker for steelbooks (thankfully it was only $80, I hate it when steelbooks are exclusive to big collector’s editions). There’s no way PHG will die because of this and Ghost of Tsushima. They’re single player games that will probably be beaten in a few days to a couple weeks (depending on how many people go for 100% or just finish the story). The player count will probably drop a bit for a couple days, but it’ll quickly go back up.

I love PHG but your right both TLOU2 and ghost graphics alone will destroy it, the gameplay executions and realism is beast and they both has a story to them with cinematics that make you feel your part of the game. Im definitely interested in these two games im a die hard predator fan but lets be real not sure i wonna keep playing a game that doesnt feel whole lol i havent got time for a small update each month lol would rather invest my money on a game like TLOU2 and this is coming from a guy that hasnt played the first TLOU.
I dont even know what those games are. This is Predator… and there will always be hardcore fans to play it.

You can get controllers for PS4 that are the same design as XBOX and they’re very comfortable.
The Last Jedi LOOKS stunning, Rise Of Skywalker LOOKS stunning and yes, TLO2 graphics look absolutely gorgeous…but looks do not correlate with enjoyment, value for money or actual quality, and just because something looks stunning it doesn’t always deliver in all the other areas.
Terminator Dark Fate looked gorgeous, but like TLO2, the beloved protagonist is murdered immediately for nothing more than ‘subversive’ shock value, virtue signalling and worthless woke points. Laughable aspects of “muh oppression” culture are then crammed in such as the evil Christian fanatic enemies and forced diversity to appease people who don’t even care about the franchise. Nothing about the original narrative is explored or explained, it’s just the typical SJW lecturing hidden as a game so that Naughty Dogs boss could hopefully get some coochie from Anita Sarkeesian🤣 Anything that woman has had an influence on mutates into preachy feminist politics and nothing more. Sorry, but you’re going to be disgusted at what they’ve done and the most advanced and beautiful graphics in the world cannot hide the steaming dogturd that it ultimately is.
