Lmao…what are you talking about man? Parry is a hit or miss thing. I’ve parried berserkers to death, but at the same time I’ve gotten destroyed by noobs and their melee attacks. You have to be positioned just right and time the parry, it’s not a 100% guarantee counter attack. Even top tier FT players get meleed and killed sometimes and that’s a fact.
Last patch gave me aids.

One parry is enough to stun the predator enough for the rest of the team to shoot the Predator. There are weapons like the elder sword that are harder to parry and can be used to kill parry gods. There’s just no point in relying on melee to down someone, long range weapons are more viable against good fireteams.
Well, everyone agrees on that…even illfonic says on the tips not to go head on with a Fireteam because it’s careless. The predator is supposed to hunt down it’s pray not brawl with them unless they’re in their weak state.
I fought against a dutch melee today that could outstrafe me and had his knife out the whole time.
This was using combi stick and no adrenaline boost mind you, but even with successful feinting and getting him to mistime his parries occasionally i still had to brake off.
Now i dont expect to just stomp him or anything like that, but i thought the point was make fireteam stick together as a general rule. Which they dont really have to do anymore with things being as they are.

I’ve faced some good fireteam players that were amazing at 1v1s. In situations where the fireteam player is great at out-maneuvering the predator, you just have to wait until the fireteam player lets his guard down.
Bro I still don’t understand why there’s so much nerf and op talk. I don’t use any of the new perks or weapons, I stick to the good old Hammerhead (which got nerfed btw), the only new gear that I may use is the anti cloak granade which helps sometimes but only last 15 seconds (I timed it). Thick skin only gives you 10hp more at the cost of one more point. So what magical OP FT are you guys talking about? Please tell me what magical undestructable loadouts these FT gods are using.
The biggest complaint that predator players have is the increased damage output from the fireteam. Also, the new guns and the Dutch 87 class is a pain to deal with.
Amazing 1v1’s shouldnt be happening until there is one player left. If even one person had been in a decent spot to help him out i would been toast. We were practically dancing around thats how little i was able to get done
oh for sure the Pitbull and M16 are super deadly at close range but they suck for long distance. I personally don’t use them for that same reason. My close distance favorite is the Z06 which is good enough and doesn’t do excessive damage.

Yeah, I don’t think the fireteam players should be strong enough to win a 1v1 with a predator but I think it’s cool that they still have a fighting chance without their team.
Apparently the community ain’t getting shit because there’s still too much complaining no matter what illfonic does. And if you don’t care then why are you even participating in the conversations? Too much free time I suppose…
