Laughable Que times

Im on PC and the Q for Pred can be horrendous. is this because people have turned of cross play or is it the game itself?

I was hoping to play and make some videos but I really cant. Some of the time it can take almost an hour just to get a Half empty lobby where the lobby never fills up so the FT quit and I have to start from zero again.

This happened to me where it waited multiple times over 20 minutes just to get a 3 man lobby and the FT quits because they want a 4th man. No issue for them since the lobbies go quick for them but its another 30 minutes for me :(

this will happen multiple times in a row.

Sometime I wont even get to play the game!!!
Is anyone else having this much trouble?

Restart the game, or cancel the queue and retry. I don’t understand why anyone would let the queues go on that long. That’s so far from normal and expected behavior.

EGS is apparently dealing with issues tonight, so what you’re seeing could certainly be the result of that. For me on PC, queues are almost always FT/NP 30 secs - 1 min, P 4 mine - 5 mins.

yep had to restart lobbies one time a lobby a loaded with 2 people 1 guy left then 3 other people just wouldnt connect or join. so i remade the lobby in total i must of waited an hour before finding a game having to refresh etc. sure not an enjoyable experience.

Thanks I will give that a try! Sucks that they are having issues.

Sadly it almost always seems to be about 3x the que time for me though. I have always had this issue with Pred and would just laugh at the estimated times. With how much I saw on here of players having similar issues I though it was just par for the course.

My rule of thumb is this. If it goes past 10, restart it.

Been seeing a lot of the matchmaking issues coming back. Long ques, getting dropped into an empty lobby that never fills up, etc. Not sure why. Just cancel and restart or reboot the game.

Maybe because the player base is already nonexistent due to the shit new patch. Just a thought…

Leave queue after 8 minutes.

With cross play enabled my predator queue has been 3-5minutes all night

Edit; My longest queue was just now and popped at 6:36.

The queue times for Predator are particularly long because there’s nothing stopping people from just queuing for the Pred.

I sincerely think they should limit it so everyone can have a shot. As it stands, I enjoy both but I stick to Fireteam because so many people are already selfish about it so I don’t wanna add to it.

The other problem there is so many people spamming predator are still absolutely terrible just over a week in and I can tell they’ve played a bit because they built up enough currency to buy cosmetics for the Pred.

Had they gated it behind a level minimum to queue specifically for Predator and random people onto Pred when queuing with no preference this would have been working fine from the start. Instead it feels like you have people who almost exclusively played Predator and learned nothing while stopping others from playing it and they’d probably benefit heavily from getting experience going AGAINST a Predator.
