meh, dont need to prove it. You’re the one dropping videos, I dont care enough to record 95% of my matches. I have a couple vids that I will go back through because I tend to keep the sweaty PC teams that I step on.
Naw, not interested in playing a private match with the current state of the game. You got smoked in a public game, deal with it. Not interested in facing your sweaty squad stacked with supports and meds as you prep up real hard for “the fight of your life!”. I have also played multiple FPS’s competitively and I think you would have to agree that FT takes little to no skill in this game. When they introduce ranked and tone down the damage from 4 man pre-mades (something like 25% reduced damage to the pred if Qing up as a 4man), then we can talk about it. Until then, cmon man, really? You feel good about beating preds as a prepared 4 stack?
I play a sweaty duo on occasion and we have yet to lose. Not even once.

Didn’t we just discuss how if you think that a match like that would mean anything, you clearly don’t have any idea how imbalanced the game is? Do you think it would mean anything if you beat me in a private game as a sweaty 4 stack? You very likely would, because the game is so heavily slanted towards FT at high levels of play that yes, even mouth breathers like you can feel good about themselves. If you can’t see that, well not sure what to tell you. It’s like stomping on a puppy and feeling like a bad ass.

Not with the standing out incorrectly. I have seen it a tiny bit on ps4, but it’s not as easy to see on ps4 as it is on pc.

I feel like it should be harder to see though then what it is currently, for pc.
In honesty I can say that the cloak doesn’t mask the predator enough on PC compared to PS4.
I’ve had the game on cinematic and on epic settings and the shader effect of the pred when running or jumping at a distance can look quite dark and opaque.
I don’t know if it’s because of the level of texture filtering or anti-aliasing but it really does look opaque - as if he is refracting so much light that it fills him with a colour different to the backdrop.
I think that the fading invisibility effects similar to what’s used when the predator is still should come into effect at distance.
To supplement the cloaking effect the predator could be like 75% invisible at 100m or more, 50% invisible between 50 and 99m, and the cloak should just work as it does now if the predator is within 50m of an FT player.
It’s quite unavoidable that PC players will have various graphical settings so it isnt an equal playing field.
These sort of uneven graphics settings being a game breaking issue became very evident in an amazing source engine mod called “the hidden” which well ahead of it’s time back in 2005.
I wont go into it because it’s a dead mod now anyway but its premise was very similar to predator in that it was asymmetric and the test subject had a cloaking effect like the predator.
People were playing this game when it was brand new, some people could see the subject with his cloak as a hazy “hot air”, some better than others. And there was an entire group of players who swore they couldn’t see him at all
After some investigating by the devs it turned out that anyone with a Geforce MX440 or below didn’t have shader model 1.1 and therefore their hardware couldn’t render the cloaking effect of the test subject. He was always invisible to them.
This pissed a lot of people off as this graphics card was a very common GPU at the time- it was like the default graphics card for all computers!

I wish I knew exactly whst it was, but yeah, illfonic really needs to do something about it.

Back in MAH day, we didn’t have these fancy GeForce cards or fancy shaders.
We had 2d sprites or open GL on VooDoo cards, and we liked it!
