Hi everyone. Can someone explain me how veritanium works when you’r playing predator? After some matches you receive like 60 or 100 veritanium even you killed all FT members. In other matches you can receive 1000+ veritanium for your death or if FT escaped. How is it works? And by other side, when you are playing as FT you always receive 600+ veritanium(and 1,5k if you killed pred).
How to deal with it?
I suspect it has to do with how long the match lasts as well as how many times you’ve scanned each FT member before killing them. I get a lot more veritanium when I get 5/6 kills after a reinforce and 10ish minute match compared to wiping the team in a few minutes.
That’s backwards you should get more for wiping them faster lol

I suspect the veritanium rewards as Predator are tied to the “Yautja skill modifier” which apparently tracks how well you follow the Yautja code - but as with everything else in this game, it doesn’t explain what you have to do to follow it. I’ve seen somebody post the code in full on these forums before but it wasn’t helpful because none of its tenets can be translated into gameplay actions.
I have noticed that I tend to get more veritanium if I fight from stealth and chip away at the Fireteam instead of going unga bunga stab and brute forcing it, even when I only pick up a kill or two and the rest escape. This game has a serious information problem and I really wish the devs would update the menus to actually tell you what’s actually going on instead of leaving the players to guess.
0 kills usually nets me a few hundred.
1 kill I received 117.
3 kills I received 94.
2 kills I received 854.
4 kills I received 5242.
It seems to be all over the board. Any verified insight/tips would be appreciated, thanks!
Edit: it does seem that a FT member disconnecting could be part of the issue. Not that it matters to me, I have pretty much everything unlocked that I want. It is more of a curiosity than anything. Plus if this currency ever becomes useful, it would be nice to know how to earn it effectively.
Same problem what i see long match 300 coins and why can not anymore predator objet the dimand/ metall to became coins?
I am guessing that scanning players completely, stalking them (being near them in stealth), allowing victim to rack up points, long claiming them are probably things that get you more according to the code.
This is my highest score for Veritanium so far. And i not even win the match. But it was a good hunt.
Most time it is around 600+
The Predator doesn’t have to kill as quickly as possible.
What is the point to wait long times as a predator for a game and then kill everything or die trying in the first 5 minutes. That means you wait longer than you are actual playing.
Find your prey, identify them, watch them patiently, like a hunter. No honor in killing a nameless random human in the jungle. Let them become worthy. Enjoy the hunt and let them feel hunted.
I think it’s a compensation that all players have a satisfactory gaming experience.

Well I have been trying that, and also staring at them with heat vision on and it seems to work. However it seems like you need to get fairly close. Seems necessarily dangerous and wastes a good deal of time. Last match I totally took my time, and chopper popped. I did not catch the total match time, but it seemed pretty short. I wonder why total match time is not displayed at the end?
