The predator with a hole in his chest MOST LIKELY was not a victim of a chestburster. In my opinion, (and many others) this predator is being studied by Stargazer, because we all know that Stargazer has been studying predator technology and physiology. In the Dutch tapes, he says they have a predator captive. Stargazer has most likely taken the predator captive, killed him, performed an autopsy, studied his organs, and you are supposed to blow up the body so they can’t do anymore research. Arguments can be made that this IS a chestburster’s work though, that’s why I said MOST LIKELY it’s not an easter egg. I feel like if we were to see a chestburster easter egg, it would be on a dead predator who is NOT in a building, sort of like how you can find predator skulls in the new map.
I also say it’s not a chestburster easter egg because chestbursters leave holes similar to a tennis ball in size, not the size of the entire torso. Even Neomorphs don’t leave holes that big, and they are even larger than the average chestburster.
