Everyone- i get it. Many of you aren’t happy with a lotnof the stuff the new Patch did for whatever specific reason.

But us trippin and givin’ bashful hate back to this platform. AIN’T HELPIN.

Think about it, the company worked their f*cking asses off since release to get 2 releases out. One for bug. And one for the COMMUNITIES FEEDBACK. Let’s see that they hear us and will do everything they hear and see eyebto eye with. They WORKED AROUND THE DANG CLOCK.

This is coming from someone who was cussin’ out the game and feeling lost hope. But this- this is a beautiful thing here. We see that the Devs care. If they didn’t i’d blow this game too. But y’all… they give AF.

Least we can do is be patient

These toxic people are slowly being ignored and this community is slowly getting better. Just have to ignore them, because Illfonic certainly is.

There are some really welcome fixes and changes in the patch, absolutely. There are a few questionable decisions but our job as a game community is to shake those out and report back to the devs with what we find.

I’m surprised they got some of this turned around as quickly as they did. Even if I may not be ready to agree with everything, I have to respect the fact that they’re paying such close attention to the game right now. This is the most crucial time for them to do so, if they want to help keep players interested and bring on new ones.

I think the changes were great and I play both. Most of the complaints from predator players are about the comb stick and pc. Illphonic is telling players to MIX IT UP. Rely on any one tool and be disappointed. I get it but it seems many don’t. I feel like in the end Illphonic will have a great game and only 20 people will play it lol.

Yesss, man. They got to it so quick. If it would’ve been 2 weeks i wpuld’ve cried. But one week? 2 patches?

I cant even hate on that.

I really don’t like how they want people to not use a single tactic but at the same time nerf the effectiveness of all other weapons making changing up things a waste of time and effort.

They nerf the plasma caster and the combistick (again) saying they want us to mix up the weapons but then say don’t use the weapons we don’t approve of.

Making the plasma caster so bad that they will want to use the bow instead is a crappy way to balance the weapons.

Illfonic needs to learn they cannot control how other people approach a situation. They cannot recreate the tension of the movie because everything that happens in a movie is tightly controlled and scripted. There’s too many variables in a multiplayer game to account for.

I have a serious question: predators were using plasma caster for the sole reason that melee was pointless due to the workings of the parry system well now they tweaked the parry system and nerfed the pc (the combi stick doesn’t bother me since I mainly use it for throwing anyways) what do they think is going to happen when they basically just interchanged it to making melee not as useless since it now takes more stamina to parry and made the pc useless? People are not gonna use the pc and are gonna start relying on melee and nets solely again more than likely.

Does that sound logical?

Lowering the damage doesn’t make the PC useless, it makes it not one shot people which is a difference. If you have to one shot people to play pred, that’s a problem. Comb stick is still fine when used right. You know what you do after someone parries it? Throw it at them as you say. People can melee rush but people can still knife counter just not as much. All it takes is two parries to buy enough time if your team isn’t potatoes. pred just got buffs across the board and players are upset about not one shotting lol.

The point about the charged shot is this:

1 - It’s very easy to dodge, the plasma shot is not a hitscan weapon like the sniper rifle is.
2 - Pred has to spend several seconds charging it - no sprinting/jumping - walking only which makes him an easy target

If I’m able to make fire team chase me around the corner of a building or a rock formation where I’m charging up a plasma shot and hit them dead on with it then it ABSOLUTELY SHOULD down them!

Now they can take a fully charged plasma shot to the face, syringe themself and keep chasing the pred like nothing happened at all. That is not good design that one of the pred’s most powerful weapons can just be shrugged off like it was nothing.

Heard of snap shotting? You may not do it but it’s becoming more common. Harder to pull of on ps4 than PC.

You deliberately avoided my point - Mindless spam of plasma is not fun - but it’s the only way to use it effectively now.

Funny how I should have to change my playstyle because FT potatoes can’t figure out how to avoid plasma shots.
