Are there any redeeming qualities for scout? Dutch 87, Dante, and OWLF operative fill any role that scout could possibly fill, and they do it better. Extra damage after sprinting is not very useful and only 12 perk and 7 gear points doesn’t make up for the other negative characteristics of scout.

Duelist is the only one that is worth a damn.

Dante is crazy good as the Scout on roids + he can carry more equipment, can even be a Field Medic lol

If I’m not mistaken scout is just a hair faster than recon with double time however not even close to amphibious. Scout dualist is by far the best of them however the damage output can be easily rivaled if not just far surpassed by an assault deadly or recon sniper. Those two classes also have better resource management and are better for helping out the team. The scout right now just doesn’t fit in since they’re outclassed by every other class atm except at clearing the AI however any class with a hammerhead could do the same.

Scout is good for PVE and Missions with double time and dexterous also add silencers to guns. and you are all set.

I understand he can be good for that, but other characters, such as the ones listed in my original post, can be nearly as good, and they’re also tanky with useful skills, more gear, and nearly the same number of perk points

A squad of support or Dante field medics can do the same slightly slower but with much greater success since as it currently stands a scout without a field medic present can be downed by a headshot from the combistick throw or a direct PC shot (even if not a headshot or direct hit they’re left with about 10% health. The scout while fun to play needs some love since it’s been left in the dust and while they have tried to tinker around with it they have yet to find that sweet spot where it truly shines above all others.

Agreed. Nothing the Scout does can’t be done better by another class, even the things the Scout is best at.

Even then it’s still better than being a disgusting recon or support.
I’m thinking they could give scout 14 perk points and swap “post sprint damage” for just about anything. I would recommend a passive that works like dexterous, but maybe one of you have a better idea.

I’d take a dexterous buff in place of the post sprint damage. A welcomed idea!
