At least you need aim. If not for the damage, ft require skill as all shooter. The more you het god the more you will stomp. Is csgo unskilled because hitscan? Is Valorant ? Nope. It’s just the damage. If you nerf it you will need good accuracy to being effective. Cloack need no ability like this.
Lets be brutally honest
hitscan is unskilled my dude, remove that and you will see the difference btw good sniper and bad sniper, because rigth now its just a matter of having the little red point of you’r scope on the target no matter the distance compare to the bow when you need to take in consideration the distance of you’r target.

It’s easier but no unskilled. Hit scan unskilled so CSGO is unskilled? Valorant unskilled? Overwatch? Unskilled means it requires no skill so all people can do that. Why very few people in the world can make a sniper a nightmare ? Why few people in the world can make Hammerhead a nightmare? Dude the fact that there is a huuuuge skill gap means that is not that unskilled, as opposite to the new cloack that remove the positioning ability of the player. I would agree with projectile weapons but they will never do this. That cloack is not the answer.
Those are different as one hs= death vs body shots. Those games at high level rely on teamwork at that pt than aiming… there all good at that level. When you put 4 people vs 1 and there is no difference except projectile vs hitscan vs more dmg… its ez to say something is missing on the other side
I agree with hitscan is easier , but they will mever change it and full invis while moving is not the answer, it’s not a single player. Also the new mode is perfectly balance because you play with same characters. You will not affect that by reducing damage. But you will help Hunt mode a lot by reducing Bane or overall damage.
Thats… Not entirely true. You certainly can maintain a permacloak with hunter. And potentially with scout now since his energy has been increased. Add onto that scout seems to gain energy from thermal vision, potentially scout could perma invis plasma cast and never drop cloak. Havent tested yet but im sure its possible.

You’re not doing it right… I’ve had them used on me in spots that the FT set up as I was pursuing them. You can’t just be reactive with in this game. You gotta plan ahead. And they work very well, so complaining that the cloak is too effective at medium range when you have tools to counter it is stupid.

It’s not my preferred playstyle, but I’ve spent enough hours playing scout to know where it’s weakness is. It’s the easiest to melt, so when you land in a bad spot, it’s curtains. Happens way too often enough due to the ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT to be moving constantly. Like I mentioned, Good FT will use anti-cloak grenades in anticipation of engagement. USE YOUR EARS.
Holy shit really that’s all I have to do just use my ears!? And this whole time I just had my volume muted and relied solely on sight, thank you for opening my eyes or ears in this case. Look out preds I’m listening for ya now.

Well I don’t know what to tell you man. You’re gonna have a rough time if you can’t hear the pred… They are sooo damn noisy, there’s really no excuse not to.
Valorant just nerfed the hell out of the Operator for being oppressive no skill bs so yes. Good riddance.
