Cloak is pretty effective now, but I never had an issue with it before. Iām more mobile than stealthy, but maybe the improved cloak will help me try scout class again

Sorry man, I disagree. I think the people commenting on Cloak have been very reasonable and not the least bit whiny.

I disagree as many fts have stated 2 v1 is ez and finishing missions in 4 minā¦ please dont ever say a tiny cloak is going to destroy your gameplay

Hereās what Iāve found.
2.03 forced preds to play ranged. I got real real good with ranged weapons while running for my life. I was almost strictly a melee pred before. Now with the cloak and those tactics/play style? Iāve lost 1 out of 5 and thats only because one ran away to trigger exfil while I wiped the rest.
Most of my matches have been FT though and itās not impossible to find the pred or fight him off, in fact most of my FT matches are pred downs because they make the same mistakes and get too aggressive.
Maybe the distance needs some rework but overall I think this makes the Predator the threat he should be.

I like the direction they took but I feel they need to adjust it a bit more for when the pred is sprinting or within close range, if theyāre at range or crouch walking I say keep at them at damn near full invisibility like it currently is.

Matches where no one has caught sight of me, and matches where i get spotted seemingly very easily
The last match I played was on Derailed. We were at Stargazer heli-camp and the Predator was cloaked running around and quite visible.
This is where teamwork needs to be improved, and the spotting mechanic actually implemented properly. If YOU can see the Predator, spot it so the rest of the team has a chance. It puts a nice red outline around its shimmering cloak making it even more visible. I canāt remember the last time I needed spotting, but since the patch it actually is a valuable tool for FT. We all know once a Predator player sees āSPOTTEDā theyāll move, so be smart with it. Iāll hopefully have a video ready within a couple of hours to show how it is for PS4.

Fuck that bullshit exploit Iām talking from a FT perspective of playing without using exploits. When a pred is sprinting at you or within 20m or so you should be able to see them like as a big blurry blob instead of damn near fully invisible at all times

From what I understand its hard to spot on controllers. On PC you can shoot and spot at the same time, from what Iāve heard you need to spot or shoot on controllers. That said the distance the pred starts going invisible needs to be pushed back, its a good change that went completely overboard. They nerfed med kits into the ground, support is useless with this change (compared to other classes, like Dutch). You find the predator? Awesome, now shoot up some branches as he repositions and youāre back to square one.
