Dude you got to do something about your bitterness. PHG’s is in a comparable situation as Dbd, Hunt: Showdown, RE-Resistance, Last Year, Hide or Die. They all start out small grow, add mechanics, improve bots and fix bugs, over time.
Lets supppose...
Nah i mean on this one its not bitterness. There are so many things in game that are incomplete, or dont work. Its like they were trying to add all these cool mechanics and make them work but they just didnt have the direction (or the time) to fit the pieces together. Its not a bad thing per say. In fact its a good thing. It means that what direction they did have was thinking bigger than the current game. Thats why when I made my rework I tried to incorporate most of the ideas the devs had. The only one i didnt get in there was the trophy taking of AI.
I don’t think they lack direction, if anything I think you’re seeing things that will be improved as time goes on. They made choices to have the game play faster, and did so for a reason.
I do think in the future… not the next mode but some mode after that, will be played very slow with no second chances. But we need to wait for the game to get to a certain point first.
I worry that if they take too long that the game will lose all its steam before that happens. I hope you are right tho.
City map, or at least a village over run by drug cartels with 2 vs 10 would go far to keep players hooked. Missions need to be compelling, rewards need to add value… The FT need to feel worth it. As soon as you get the cosmetics/weapons unlocked there’s little motivation to queue up as FT anymore. Hell the only reason I did was to get exp/vt faster, in order to get levels and pred cosmetics.
3vs12 or nothing at all. No AI.
That would be rad.
Hey. Something we agree on. Reactive missions like you suggested would be great for this game. Would break up the monotony and add a reason to try to complete the mission beyond just escaping.
