Lets talk about AI

I hear a lot of complaints about the worst AI I have ever seen.

People say ow they hurt. I say how the fuck does stargazer have half the hp a predator has.

-Shotguns one shot alost all the AI
-XL Pistol
-Sniper 2 shots or one HS

The AI is still trash and they really don’t do much unless you ignore them.

Yup, they don’t even waste that much of FT ammo. I would like to see them use stun grenades (1-2 second stun of FT or pred), and either flamethrowers or incendiary grenades (base damage and sets target on fire - just like wrist launcher). Don’t know if there’s enough memory to make them smarter since half of it is devoted to the piggies 😁. If they are made harder to kill, then their damage output should be reduced; a trade for ammo wasting by FT and more time devoted to taking them out.

1 person with a shotgun can clear out the whole camp. People struggling with AI arent running 1 wep for predator, and 1 wep for dealing with AI. Shotguns doubletap armored units across the compound you can even hit the snipers with them.

O course you can solo the AI. Now the 10 AI + Predator on you is a bit more complicated. Also they do chip away at your health as they come and spawn BEHIND YOU!

The a.i at the minute are still dumb but eventually they will be smart and people will complain.

Yeah but you get melted if there are like 4 or 5 around

@OldKingHamlet tell someone to place a “no AI spawn zone” around each FT member.

While they are trash they’re really only a threat to scout & recon, or when you’re dealing with a good pred then they become more of an annoyance.

that is if alarms are not triggered, which pretty much all Preds take care of doing before FT even reaches the camp. We have seen as many as 20 AI in a concentrated area. Yes, you can “clear camp”, but not without using a syringe and still end up with 50 points of health when you are done.

TBH… AI is far more dangerous than most preds.

Alarms are their own dumbass balancing issue because it takes 5 seconds to run into a compound and disable them all unless the pred knows what mission you’re doing. Alarms either trigger because pred sets them off or they don’t at all.

main preds will unlikely know, but the best preds we usually fight, which play both sides, know all the missions, reinforcement locations, etc.

not to mention objectives are highlighted under thermal vision.

The moment AI start to hide behind walls…i mean not like hide behind crates and do that retarded ‘shoot upside down blindly’ shit…then AI are going to start behaving like real humans do.

I do see them doing some really good things sometimes though. I just wish they acted more “human”.

AI getting shot at would move instantly to cover while actively trying to fight and survive and not just line up and stand there.

To add there should be way more of an AI presence as well. More of them before and after “Alarm” is triggered by AI
