Ok so i am now one of the max level players ive played this game alot so far about 36 hours or so most of these games have been as the predator with 3 fireteam games. Ive done some private lobby testing on a twitch stream. Like as an example did you know zerker combistick full combo does 157 damage whereas the hunter does 135 and that impenetrable only gives predator a 5% dmg reduction? and the last assault rifle G05lR downs the hunter predator in one full clip. saying these examples aside here is my actual feedback.

all of predators items need adjustments there is no reason to use any of the ranged items when the plasma caster is simply the best one same with melee and the combi stick I’d recommend giving unique effects such as a bleed to the melee weapons where as the ranged i don’t really know what you could do with them aside from nerfing the plasma caster. it feels like predator has too few healing items compared to the marines but do to the dmg output currently that might be placebo same with the fact that games can sometimes feel too short with marines rushing obj too quickly while being mudded for most of the game same with pigs might be too hard to find in my experience with like 80 games under my belt I’ve only ate 7 pigs EVER.
2.Predator has pigeon hole perks. the predator dmg perks are MANDATORY for the predator to do will this is mostly due to the fire-team simply having too many defensive options also the third perk is mostly locked to be either big pockets for the extra heal, fast swap so you can net + melee, or long jump to get away. My recommendation here is to remove any perk from both fire-team and predator that effect dmg for as long as they exist they will be mandatory same with damage reduction perks

Predator might have too little hp. As i said above it takes one full clip from the last AR to down the hunter predator or 9 shots with the revolver pistol now thing about the fact here are 4 fire team members do you see the problem? now of course this is with the dmg perks oh and it takes 6 stabs to down the predator also or 2 shots with the last sniper to take out his mask. the problem for the most part has a simple solution as above either remove these perks or give the predator more hp if i had to guess probably about 10% would be fine for all the predator classes.
4.predator might be too slow. people have complained that it’s really easy to just run after the predator during second wind in my experience this is mostly true due to jumping while sprinting as marines consumes no stamina and lets them run faster as this is probably a bug this might be all you have to change though i would prefer if i could still Leap during second wind but that might be too much. -
predators cloak and sounds feels as though it doesn’t work in my experiance as a marine i can just pretty much see him due to shadows so it seems as though the cloak isn’t even worth using cause people can literally just see you. also predator can’t run in trees cause it makes soo much noise all the fireteam knows where you are as soon as you touch a tree running also is pretty loud by i think that’s fine I’m not really sure how loud a predator walking vs crouch walking is so i’ll leave that to someone else to tell me or for me to just notice myself. i think that cloak needs to be more invisible in some fashion but give a shimmer when he moves quickly but make it tougher if he is moving slowly tree sound really needs to be reduced so trees become actually useful and usable and overall sound probably just reduce sound made by each predator class accordingly scout should be most quiet if unhearable when not sprinting/jumping hunter is in the middle of that and zerker is the loudest.
6.i feel like there was something else i wanted to put here but sadly my brain decided to forget about it if it comes too me i’ll make another post in this thread. i don’t want to overstay my welcome
Fireteam Feedback
it’s worth saying i am not a great fps player so some of my feedback may be skewed as well as i didn’t play much marines but i did play alot of predator all this feedback is from that perspective so take it with a grain of salt my apologies if seems unfair.
1.Fireteam has way too many healing options. just from a purely numbers perspective each marine could have 150 hp so only berserker could down them in melee with the combi while also have 2 stims each and 3 hp packs each on top of all carring guns that down the predator in a single clip by only 1 marine not even a full squad now of course this is worse case scenario but eventually metas form i’m simply making an observation here. My recommendation is to limit the number of healing items probably reducing them carried by 1 or increasing the gear cost by 1 or 2 you could take an extreme route and nerf the healing values but i don’t think that’s necessary.
2. parrying seems too strong along with marine melee in general. So ive had one game where a full team of marines just rushed me with knifes and it was a bizarre experiance. needless to say parring seems to be to efficient at just shutting down the predator also being a little unrealistick isn’t the pred supposed to be like 8 feet tall and 600 pounds of muscle? but your telling me a regular old combat knife + navy seal can just knife fight him to a standstill? rage aside i feel like parry needs an internal CD maybe one parry per 5 seconds or so for each marine individually. Otherwise predators will be forced to always carry Netgun in order to stop this also marines can down pred in 6 stabs with the melee dmg perk which is also absurd that would mean each marine has to knife him once and then 2 additional times seems a bit odd.
3 the sprinting problem marines move too quickly plain and simple generally in my experiance a well done team finishes the objs of the map in 4 minutes this in tandem with the bug of if they jump while sprinting it spends NO stamina AND lets them move faster is a huge issue. now i don’t know aside form the bug fix if that’s enough also it seems that aside from the er scout pred class marines can outrun the predator the bug might be the cause of this but i’m not sure.
4.marine damage generally speaking so as i said some of the marine weapons are way too strong mostly automatic weapons here whereas single shot weapons don’t seem too bad same with explosives i think honestly assault weapons probably need their dmg reduced by 5% and increase all single shot weapons dmg like pump shotgun by about 10% and it should be fine
5.MUD mudding needs to be nerfed in some way it is currently too easy to keep mudding up 100% of the game every road in the map has mud along with most buildings imminently outside also has mud and spawns have mud as soon as you spawn what the fuck. my recommendation is that you shouldn’t be able to mud until after 1 marine has been claimed and aside from that it should be fine maybe reduce mud spawns to compensate for predators have so few pigs.
6.reinforcement to put it bluntly reinforcement happens pretty much every game that the predator doesn’t just one combo the entire squad which brings all the dudes back even if someone died while there spawning and gives them full ammo and gear making them have even more hp items and ammo i don’t even think it’s possible for marines to run out of ammo. rage aside i think all that has to be done here is increase the spawn time for reinforcements by like 10seconds that’s it.
7. once again if i think of something else i’ll probably make a post in this thread thank you for reading we still have a little bit more
General game feedback
1.currency when you reach level 100 your veritum gain slows to a crawl on average i earn 120 V per game that lasts 16 minutes now i don’t know about you but when expensive items cost 25k that seems like it’s too few now honestly i hate lootbox based progression systems so i could be biased in this fact and this could be me simply raging at the business man but that aside. i think we earn too few veritum
2. obscure game mechanics. it says in the predator tips that yautja code effects rewards probably should put that code in game so i don’t have to look up a wiki and figure out what among this even effects the game.
3. the controls So predator controls terrible as in the actual binded keys the weapon wheel is an afront to god with how unresponsive it can be i recommend everyone to use select weapons 1-3 to replace that wheel also it feels as though cycle gear acts the same way why does the predator have reload as a default control button? why does the predator have a control called high visibility but it does nothing? honestly this is just me raging at the controls i’m sorry for that back to normal
4.various gameplay issues sometimes predator literally bounces off things he jumps into sometimes predator locks up when swaping between gear can’t tell you how many times ive swapped from stick to laser canon only for me to be stuck in aiming with spear and can’t run jump or swap to another weapon and then i’m forced to just let the marines kill me. stealth isn’t a thing in this game in any way shape or form now i know at 30% hp you can stealth kill marines in my time playing the game i have never once done it seems like that might need to be changed but i’m not really sure how.
5 once again my friends we are at the end for real this time if i come up with something else i’ll make another post in this thread i really enjoy the game play of this title as i perfer an asymmetrical multiplayer game with a more combat focus like evolve in it’s hayday and i have hopes for this title but in it’s current state i have a hard time reccomending the game side from the worry it may not last as long as evolve did so now would be the best time to play it i won’t go over matchmaking as i believe todays patch fixed alot of those issues if they didn’t then keep it up i believe in you.
EDIT: also i should say that i agree with most of the points ive seen here on the forums aside from some absurd things uk_spawn i think in particular has a good head on his shoulders.
