The game really doesnt have the player base yet to restrict who you can play with. This will go along way to fixing matchmaking times.
Will it cause an unfair advantage some matchs? Prehaps. A low level predator vs a team of 100 FTs. Or vise versa. But it doesn’t automatically mean you’ll lose. May be more challenging but not impossible. Even a low level hunter with plasma caster can do some damage against a team setup to counter melee berserkers.
Will be a good learning experience for newbs. Especially low level FT who pair up with high levels. Can learn good tactics and team work early on. Will breed more cautious Preds who use different tactics.
Otherwise you’ll have a level divide between low and high players, with new players finding it harder to find matches as the older playerbase is beyond their reach.
