List of Bugs & Potential Exploits

I’ll probably be coming back to this to add more & more over time as I do a little more digging/testing but this is a list of Bugs & Exploits I’ve found or been informed of that are currently in the game and in need of patching.

  1. Fanatic’s Buff is always Active once Proc’d unless Healed via In-Map or Gear Item Medkit or Revived by Field Medic. You can use a Field Syrette to maintain the Fanatic Speed + Damage buff as for some reason the healing method used by Syrettes does not undo the Buff whilst flat HP restores like Medkits, Overseer & Revives do. This can be used at the start of the match for FT to blow up a Barrel, taking them below 50HP, and then healing back up to full/near full with a Field Syrette to have a constant Fanatic buff until either Match End or Death.

  2. Enraged’s Buff is always Active once Proc’d. Similar to Fanatic for FT, Enraged for Pred is always active one you meet its requirements, and unlike Fanatic nothing you do will take the Buff away. You can eat Pigs, you can use the Healing Kit and you can go in & out of 2nd Wind and Enraged will always be applying its Speed & Stamina Regen buff for the remaining duration of the Match.

  3. Animation Cancels/Instant Attacks. By rebinding your control scheme for example to say have your Predator weapons on the D-Pad you can animation cancel the start up/equip animations of weapons such as the Bow, Combistick, Smart Disc & Plasmacaster so that you will attack before the animation of fully taking out & equiping said weapons has completed. This can result in combi throws coming out of a Pred’s body & being unreactable, same with the Caster which can fire before its targeting reticule even appears.

  4. Predator Melee Double Hit. If you use a melee attack near a pig corpse, immediately go to eat said pig and then cancel the eating animation, you will hit twice with one input. This can potentially be used to double hit players who are camping on a Pig.

  5. Pig Flinging. After cancelling a Pig if you immediately leap or jump, you can fling the pigs bodies several metres, across huge stretches of map and onto places FT can not easily or outright get to at all. This can potentially make Pigs completely safe & unpunishable.

  6. FT Knife Multi-Hit. If you have Melee & Fire as separate inputs you can do multi-hits with the knife in the time it would normally take to swing once. So for example, if you have Fire on Square & Melee on Triangle (For controller of course) you can alternate between the two and flood the inputs and get more attacks out than intended. Does not work with Heavy attacks however.

  7. Viking Axe Damage Stacking. Similar to the bug that affected the Predator Katana earlier this year, if you alternate between Light Attacks & Heavy attacks, the damage from the Light will stack on top of the damage to your next Heavy attack. Further testing is to be done to see whether or not this bug is also currently affecting the Hammer, but it is a possibility.
