The only reason why they added CLASH is to actually give people that like to play fireteam more and prefer that approach of just team deathmatch a go… so now they can focus on better game modes that would be beneficial for both again…

Yeah, I remember the granade launcher times and Zerk+combi combo, looking back you can see how much balanced the game is now, even when people were saying current FT were stronger then the Predator, Illfonic comes up with better cloak and predakour, AND better Predators balancing, making them overall even more balanced(I was “ok” with FT having high damage, as long the Predator has better cloaking). If anything, Illfonic have been the ones to actually try to listen to the community, hell, most of their updates comes in a weeks, some times we get 3 updates per month.
I would say the major thing they must focuse now is optimizations.

lol have you seen the DBD forums? The devs by definition can’t “listen to fans” as they refuse to acknowledge anything is fundamentally broken - literally tell everyone to git gud on stream and then nerf decisive strike the next week asking everyone how they they feel about mori’s as if they’ll change it in two years. Some maps are absolutely rushed jungle gym trash, and that game is powercrept out the ass despite being casual as hell. The best thing they ever did was patch out infinite gate teabagging and looping. The “loyal” fanbase is people playing whatever liscensed character for 2 months and then burning out until they throw money at another IP for a p2w killer.
The only thing any company can learn from DBD is the perk and point system.
