Not sure if this is a perk, or a bug, but since last patch, when I try and use my target location, it shows nothing for it’s entire duration. I know that as a member of fire team you can mud up and that’ll hide from pred thermal vision, but in order to track them down I rely on that early game, especially. Is there someone who could explain why it’s not working?

Too far away, methinks. You have to be within a certain radius to mark the fireteam. Try doing that. Even if you can see them, it won’t necessarily mark them.
Thanks. That may be it. I may have not understood there was a distance thing involved since it used to work 100% of the time prepatch, but I must have been at a shorter distance then.

Anyone “mudded up” will be invisible to target isolation. I wish more people knew this, honestly.
If that’s the case, just remember that every mission is taking place in one of the main building complexes, listen out for gunfire, chatter, ect, and keep your eyes peeled. At this point I only use target isolation when I absolutely have to.
Yeah it’s just the whole team is muddled up so they won’t appear, but if one dude isn’t mudded up then you can see that dude
I always thought target isolation wasn’t affected by the mud. Hence the cool down being decently long. Weird. Thanks for the info guys. Really helpful!!
