LOCK Feedback and Bug Report Tabs (Categories)

By now, the community continues to post repeat threads regarding similar, if not the same bugs or issues. (Particularly by newer players who don’t actively search through the forum and do their research)

Not to mention these repeat threads delve into toxic black holes due to the wider community of 2 years constantly having to remind these newer players their suggestions are either being ignored, or it’s been posted multiple times.

There is nothing constructive or new that comes from these 2 threads anymore, that the community already doesn’t know about, or have any expectation of anything being fixed.

Save everyone their breath and efforts, actively fix the game, respect the Q/A testing the community has done for over 2 years and help us get the predator game we all deserve.

Then maybe open them up again when the community can actively be helpful.

the worst thread is the one about the dates and dlc content, but this is not the fault of the players but of illfonic that has left the game stagnant, that’s why they repeat themselves, that’s why the new ones publish the same thing, that’s why they insist, it’s exhausting , it makes me angry, but it’s not the fault of the forum

I’m not suggesting this as “punishment”.

What good comes from any of these threads?

What is constructive about everyone complaining and repeating stuff that isn’t actively getting fixed?

We aren’t finding “new bugs” since we haven’t had much of anything new added to the game.

My suggestion of locking these threads for future dates to be reopened, is to help the community not flood the forum with pointless items and maintain the peace and everyone’s sanity, while we wait for either this game to be made properly, or it gets sold to a more proactive studio.

I’m trying to save @Kassinaillia and illfonic sifting time while they go through reports. (If they even do it anymore). Not to mention the communities sanity and efforts.

Because if people continue to repeat themselves and bury what the community has already tried to actively help with, nothing will get done.

I mean even I put my concept threads in GD, no point in putting them in feedback since it’s almost never looked at. Even by the devs </3

Hence why I’m not suggesting a full closure, since @Kassinaillia moderates the forum and seems to enjoy doing it.

It’s to save your thoughts and ideas before we are actively seeing moves done by illfonic or another studio that carries the Predator torch.

The whole presumed silence = actively working on the game, while we continue to recieve less and less, but they continuously let these sections of the forum dive into insanity, just makes the whole situation look bad and more reason to not give it anymore attention.

Lock up the threads, streamline discussions to be constructive and stop this toxic train and get A predator game on the right track.

Just a heaping pile of, nothing that helps the game get better, both these threads have become.

I really don’t see how is viewed as ok by Sony and Disney. It’s really not making much money but it COULD make big bucks big bucks chicken noises if they would just fix the damn game already. Make this a game that lasts a generation like Halo Reach did for so many fans of Halo. Hell, I still play Halo Reach to this day and am sometimes caught slipping a tear when I play the campaign. That’s how you make a game.

Now I’m not saying PHG has to mimic Halo Reach, but I am saying that they need to shape up real quick. We need Gauntlet, we need hit scan weapons to be turned into projectile based past 30 meters, FT and Pred health and damage needs to be adjusted, for crying out loud just look at my rework, Illfonic! Take it from someone who’s spent the majority of two years playing this game and has experienced everything it has to offer, including the highest tier of gameplay and the lowest! I know what I’m talking about and I only want this game to get the love it deserves

You make good points but I can’t exactly force the community to have certain discussions in certain areas. I think any attempts will be met with heavy resistance. :P

Making these additional threads also sometimes leads to us getting new information and I definitely do not want to create an environment where people feel discouraged to give us their unbiased opinions about the game’s state. If you guys wanted to make a push as a community to start keeping these issues in a centralized thread, it would certainly help me haha

There is just so much good that is in the past of these forums and I’d hate to have an even bigger uphill battle for the studio to have to find solutions.

There honestly hasn’t been anything “new” in the Bug department that folks in the community haven’t talked about already.

Just trying to figure out a way to make things more constructive and keep everyone’s heads on their shoulders 🤙

Also assist in newer players not getting bombarded by the usual:

“Already been said”, “won’t happen”, “you new here” posts.

Not to mention duplicate threads that break the guidelines of the forum.

We can attempt to organize events, create community efforts, and bring more attention to this game. But it’s ultimately up to Illfonic to deliver. I made a good few concepts with balanced stats and an admittedly long time of thinking about how they should be balanced. Some of them are better than others, yes, but that’s nothing new with the balance of PHG. Samurai remains to be one of the worst Predators, only saved by Ghost and even then.

Point is, I would encourage the guy/girl/team that tweaks or creates stats for characters to sit down and talk with me. Like I said before, I’ve got an embarrassingly long time clocked in this game, somewhere around 3000 hours, a lot of which was spent pondering builds and statistics. I’ve faced many top tier teams and potatoes, I’ve unleashed ungodly builds into the meta, I’ve trained newer players in the past that have become some great pred mains overtime, I’ve pointed out several issues I’m not even gonna bring up. I’ve sunk a good portion of the past two years of my life into this game and I don’t quite plan to stop until it’s really over. I’ve been watching this game divulge into a mess of exploiting, glitching, and bugs and continue to try and dissuade players from using the most broken exploits.

But I can only do so much. WE can only do so much. At some point in time, the player has to be the player and the developer has to be the developer. Once again, you guys have my email and would be foolish not to at least reach out to me

Hope they don’t think it’s just for laughs seeing how much time we have sunk into phg 😕

To spend all this time trying to help to just hit brick walls.

I don’t even know why there’s a bug reporting category if even @Kassinaillia has stated it is better to email the devs since they don’t come read the forums at all.

Haven’t you emailed them several times with gamebreaking bugs and certain exploits, even how to reproduce some of them? And yet still have been ignored?
