I love this game, there are things to improve (especially adding new maps), but my absolute main problem right now is the drop rate regarding mythic drops with the locker fields.
What keeps players like me attracted to this kind of game & loot box system is that there are rewards when you work hard on it. If the thing looks rigged, then you eventually give up the game entirely, despite the game being fun.
There was a patch two days ago, I thought Illfonic would have solved it and I appreciate that they saw it was a problem, but they clearly didn’t solve it, or I am really damn unlucky.
I have farmed in solo for two days in a row, hardcore. Meaning I didn’t get any fun doing this, I’ve just collected money to open a lot of lockers. I have opened over 500 locker fields in 2 days and I still haven’t gotten a single mythic. This is not reasonable.
If you play the game normally, you can’t get as many money as I made playing solo in private match, so this means you are almost guaranteed to not get a mythic even if you play over 50 hours normally.
Since the beginning, I must have opened somewhere between 3000 & 4000 lockers and still not a single mythic.
You’d have thought the patch would fix this, but I don’t see how.
Even getting the really rare exotics is a joke: the skulls for the Predator… I got a double of the Wolf skull with this patch, woooooow… but never got the other two!
Is it just me having reaaaal bad luck, or do most hardcore collectors have the same problems?
And it’s not like there is ONE mythic item to get, there are like 20 items. How are you supposed to keep collecting when you can’t even get one despite going through hell?
I hope Illfonic patches this again, with a drop rate REALLY improved for the mythics, and even exotic skulls. When you open 500 lockers in a row, you should be guaranteed to get at least one mythic and more items that you don’t have.
I get SO MANY DOUBLES! At this point I have basically gotten everything, except the mythics, 2 exotic skulls, and the mythic paints.
Also, what’s the deal with the variant colours for the 87 Predator mask? It’s written that I can unlock them but there’s no money shown, and when I press the button it does nothing.
Illfonic, please solve all of this asap in a new patch, it’s a real problem for players like me. The drop rate is RIDICULOUS.
