Interesting find!! A single Player Experience would be a welcome one. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Friday the 13th’s Challenge Modes but never dove into them. Having something similar for Hunting Grounds would be a good thing.
And for the Predator, I think a Horde Mode of sorts (think of ODST’s Firefight Mode) against waves of increasingly difficult AI Grunts would be fun. Hell, make a Firefight Mode for both sides of Hunting Grounds.
Adding to the Online Only Model that’s sadly too common these days, Borderlands 3 did it right: you need to be connected for Updates, DLC and Patches… and that’s it. If your Internet Connection craps out, you can still play. Even Ghost Recon: Wildlands had the same setup. Breakpoint (Wildlands’ successor) on the other hand had the same exact structure Wildlands had but with Online Only connectivity bullshit. How is this sustainable when eventually, nearly all of the Games we love to play could technically be gone one day?? The idea that something that we paid for could be taken away from us.
I hope Hunting Grounds (and many others) will eventually get an Offline Patch. There are plenty of us who love to reminisce and play older Games.
