It’s better to have one than none at all. Multiplayer only games are a gamble. You never know what could happen. Maybe the servers get shut down next month and you’d feel like you’ve rented the game rather than bought it to keep. With an offline mode even if it’s with shitty AI at least you can enjoy the game when the servers are down.
