I thought they might be adding in more modes with the fact the daily objectives said play “hunt” when we all know it’s branded as “quickplay” right now but guess that would be asking too much
Again just give me some more maps, I don’t care if they’re jungle again just freshen it up…and no adding in new missions to existing maps is not how to keep it fresh it’s cheap but it seems like this game has no budget :( should have shilled the reviewers

this just reminds me of when they added a shitty solo mode to Battlefront after the backlash and it was fun the first time playing but then literally boring after that. playing AI, especially this AI, is just dull…they’re there just to annoy you.
anyway all speculation, hopefully it’s something fun to enjoy either way

Lol a 2 hour campaign killing braindead AI that you play through once does not “immortalize” the game. No more than loading into private matches solo and killing AI immortalizes the game. Unless you’re the speed runner collectathon type that accounts for like 1% of the population.

When I say immortalise the game I mean you can still play it when the servers are down and when nobody else is playing. I don’t really understand how that’s a bad thing.
Yeah the AI probably will be brain-dead. But it’s better than not having an offline mode at all because that just reduces this to a game you rent. And they’ll probably improve the AI overtime.
And yes I am still going back to the single player of Friday the 13th every now and then.
And as for loading into private matches killing weak AI you can’t really do that offline so no I wouldn’t say that immortalises the game.
Who says it will be a campaign? For all we know they’ll add multiple offline modes like having the multiplayer modes but played with offline bots.
I see where you’re coming from that their focus should be on other areas of content. But at the same time I really don’t understand why you strongly believe this a feature they should never add. There’s a good enough reason to imo.
I do though. Is it the SP mode I would like? Not really. But who am I to judge or even decide what happens for that matter?

It would be half assed, and that’s purely due to the dev team developing it. The naming convention as to how things are setup are done in the same mannerism as someone who’s going through a Udemy course. Yeah, you read it right. If you follow an Unreal Engine course, you’d see the majority is being done by students via blueprints. This game is setup the same way …
But regardless of it being handled the way it is being handled. I’d prefer it over as to having what I have now. What a hunt mode in which half of the time no one knows what they’re doing and what’s going? Due The same 3 maps over and over again? Pointless level grind? Is that the very definition of fun? Please …
Coop yes, single player yes, hunt mode only is a no in my opinion.

Idk. But honestly before any of that, I’d like for bugs and what bot to be fixed, then we get new stuff.
But single player just seems like it would be fun for 2 or 3 times then be pointless.

As for your fun comment. It depends on your mentality. Yes its repetitive as hell. But it’s kind of like a fighting game. It’s all about the combat.
You have to have a love for pure combat in order to enjoy it.
Solo missions are probably more useful than you think, you want different behaviours for the bots, those get added while making the missions.
You want a bad Blood bot to hunt as a Pred, odds are it gets made for a challenge for FT.
Players want an escort mission, bots need to be made. Want to escort a vehicle, same thing.
I think you should think of the things that go into making any of this stuff as stepping stones to better things in the game in general.

Yeah, fixing things is a thing and that won’t go away 'til they do so. It’ll take a few, they’ll do it. But damn there’s just some things that don’t belong in this game for it’s price. But that’s just my 2 cents.
In a sense you’re barking up the wrong tree as I’m one of those shitlords who enjoys playing Mortal Kombat, lol. But I get what you mean. It’s good (SP) for a couple of playthroughs and all that jazz. But at this moment in time it would offer “me” a better experience. Just because the way the hunt mode is currently setup. It truly lacks a great deal of polishing to PUG it and enjoy it for more than 2 rounds.
Coop would outdo the SP experience just by the social interaction you’d get out of it with. Anything else? Maybe. Just maybe. The person has to be chill, using his/her mic or be a friend (IMO). If it’s anything like the hunt mode? I’m just gonna take a hot pass on that. It’s genuinely nothing personal to anyone playing this game. But no thanks.
Except you can have all those things and STILL skip all the voicing and bullshit work that goes into a SP mode.
The game is already struggling with longetivity and a SP mode helps that for two hours.

I enjoy playing with ppl more than I do alone. But that’s cause I’ve played so many games, watched so many movies/series, anime and read so much manga, that I have pretty much seen every plot possible. Which sucks cause I cant enjoy single player like I used to.
But, luckily I managed to enjoy devil may cry 5.
For this game tho, I really want to be able to team up with other preds. Cause ft needs a taste of their own medicine xD.
