I want to take a short moment here, after getting through Patch 2.0 - Crossplay Patch and whatnot to personally thank Illfonic for supporting the game as much as they have in these past 4 months since release. We could have had a situation where we were bamboozled, left with a lifeless, inoperable game this much time later with no further work done.
Unlike many others, however, Illfonic got back up, and back to work, in the middle of COVID-19 no less. The amount of work done to please the fans was so much, they even needed a week break from the consistent series of patches. It wasn’t all great though, there were a fair share of glitches and things needing fixing, even now. In time, most of them have been. I’ve always made it a point to give this game time to grow, to be worked on, to be better than yesterweek’s bulid. It’s been so satisfying to see my optimism be rewarded these days. I formally salute Illfonic, and wish everyone there a great time working on the game.
Even though the Fourms is probably one of the most unironically toxic areas even I’ve seen in a while, most of us do have the game’s state in mind. One can say it may be too early to start sounding all clear on the quality of the game, which still does have issues; but putting that aside, there has clearly been hard work and time done on this game. So with my little healthy congrats/rant over, I’ll keep on giving this game time if work like this continues to be done, great job Illfonic.
