This last patch balanced the game a bit, matches are now more interesting for both sides, however nerfing loot boxes means that the only efficient way for a person past 60lev is to go solo as human in private mach, ignore the objective completly and just focus on collecting money… bit sad

Yep. As a level 100 predator main I could either wait in the queue for 15+ minutes and make maybe 200-ish veratanium after a 10 minute game. Or I can go solo in a private match as FT with no queue and make over 1000 veratanium in 9-ish minutes.

Loot boxes however are purely cosmetic, so I’m not sure what the issue is with them.
Sure it means you may not be able to loot that sweet mythic item you want, but honestly, you don’t need boxes since every normal cosmetic is purchasable in the game.
And it’s not like your chance of getting a mythic is good anyways, trust me, I should know, with how many boxes I’ve opened and how many mythic items I’ve gotten.
I literally own EVERY purchasable cosmetic in the game, every one unlocked for both Predator and Fireteam and I’m fine with that. I still buy boxes, I still gain almost just as much back as I put into them with the new change.
It’s really not that bad and not nearly an issue right now that needs to be addressed. The change was more so because people could literally spam buy them and earn 3x the amount back that it would cost.

one thing they definitely need to do is add more stuff to unlock. having to wait so long to get stuff and then already having everything 99% of the time now is making it seem pointless. i was gonna just save up all my credits to buy things outright, but i got the western revolver the other day, so there’s stuff that you can only get from crates :/
no you wont, after lev 100 a win game for pred is about 150 -200… cosmetic I want is 25000 - see the problem?
Cosmetics in this game is as weak as Sea of Thieves were at laucnh, they are mostly recolors and not even that good looking for the Pred. The masks are impressive, high res and really well modeled, but the armor paints and stuff…its VERY mediocre. Why cant we change the colors of the mask paints? Why can we have a slider for most predator base colors and decals?
Dont play the FT, but same goes for them, it has very little to offer.
As it stands now, theres nothing i really wanna unlock, so lootboxes dont even matter to me.
