So someone on Discord has confirmed that the Elder has no shaders for the skin and armour. You can customise the head, but not the body. I was hoping that this wasn’t going to be another Jungle Hunter, but it appears that it technically is the same, and we cant customise it.
@IllFonic @Courier, is this a temporary thing, and will you eventually add shaders to the Elder, or is it like the 87 Jungle Hunter, and we can only customise the head?
The version of the elder predator we got, sounds like a lazy addition by the team. A quick fix, in the hopes of stopping the community complaining as much!

Skin tone
Armour style and colour.
Weapons
Trophies
Distinctive scars and battle damage.
They are 150 already…well they are gonna get bored again real soon. I’m just glad I’ve got a new target and something to grind towards…then when I get to 150 I’ll enjoy playing Elder Predator and when that gets old I’ll either buy (or wait for it to be free) the Samurai.
Didn’t think this would be the case, would be good to be able to change the shaders really. Here’s hoping they add the ability to do so, they already did the shaders for the 87 mask for people so maybe
I’d be very happy if the at least add the female variant of it, with the longer predlocks maybe. Same goes for the samurai pred and the alpha predator, wich I guess will be both male predators with limited costumization.
Honestly I’d be happier if they release more unlockable costumization for the base classes, like actual armor types (different colors yes, but the patterns are just cheap costumization), different heads (species of yautja?) new masks and such. But unfortunately it looks like illfonic will just add more and more predator “classes” (characters would be the better name right now) to the roster.
It’s Greyback from Predator 2. He’s built from a Jungle Hunter with some additions from City Hunter. He did have a unique mask (he had two) which is represented on the Golden Angel rendition of him done by Neca. That’s really the biggest negative.
Otherwise he is indeed supposed to look like that. It isn’t some generic elder, this is the Elder from Predator 2. I have no idea how everyone keeps missing that. Even the Elder (now Ancient) from AVP is a modified Scar Predator in a cape. They’re all redresses of existing suits.
Seems like it was a last minute addition which I’m not going to complain about, I just hope they have plans to add more customization options like being able to select female variant and more armor styles etc
I’ll tell y’all because I have elder. He has the same customizable properties as ‘87 hunter. Tho you do get the elders predlocks and put it on your berserker, hunter, or scout if ya want to. Also get gold as well. I just wish he had more options so I can make him all gold. Also I can confirm that he has a different roar as well from the other classes when his biomask is destroyed in game
