Low graphics settings & Predator sound

I just upgraded my system as well and overclock cpu to 5.0ghz other games 20% gain, but this one, its a joke.

It’s called gaymers pride month ✊

did it, still get between 80-100% GPU usage

or just let console players adjust graphics settings so they actually have playable FPS instead of punishing PC players with mid-tier GPUs and making the game unplayable on all platforms

Wow, can you be that stupid? How about the setting that lets you see the furthest to dumb it down for you… stupid fuck.

Ok, take a screen shot of the ā€œfarā€ setting. The scale goes from low to high, epic, and cinematic…hmmmm yea no ā€œfarā€ setting.

Dumb it down? Bitch please…the only dumb one here is you.

no mang…no.

There’s only one area, in one map, where the foliage does not draw fast (it still draws a few seconds later)… but these dumbasses refuse to believe it, even after video proof. There’s no point in trying to convince them.

I’ll take care of it tomorrow

i did a bunch of tests it goes from 190 down to 80’s… it just depends. the plasma caster really lowers the dps at the lowest of 65 fps. With FXAA its slightlighly lower. I can only imagine what ps4 players are going through… there getting kicked cause the optimization is ass. I cant believe the layout of the map is so polygonally fucked.

I had a lot of ups and downs with my older CPU. Once I upgraded to an 8 core-16 thread, the ups and downs are mostly gone, though I still play on medium settings @1440P. On Epic settings I get about 50 fps min 85 fps max. Visual impact IMO isn’t that much so I settled for all med settings and call it a day. I never get under 60 with med settings and I’m happy with that, at least

Btw what’s that ā€œall coreā€ line that you’re using for better performance?

I reinstalled the game some time ago.

I dunno exactly how the game works cpu wise. I just know, by experience, that more cores will give you better performance, even if the cpu usage is not 100% with your current CPU

Example, my old 3770K (4 core-8 thread) was never at 100% during gameplay. It was normally around 60% usage. When I upgraded to the 10700K (8 cores - 16 thread) cpu usage is now 20-30%, but I got about 30+ fps boost.

For comparison, this was my old setup

i7 3770K O.C. 4.5 GHz
16 GB DDR3 @ 2400 MHz
GTX 1070 Ti

My new setup

i7 10700KF O.C. 5.00 GHz
16 GB DDR4 @ 3200 MHz
GTX 1070 Ti

So, even if your CPU is not being maxed out, you will benefit from having more cores and higher clocks

Also, I use the -useallavailablecores flag on the game arguments when launching it

It also explains why Roargathor, with a 1070, had better framerates than I did. He had a better CPU than my older one.

Omg, the controls have different names!! It is so hard to figure out what I meant. I am sorry that I have to be so concise because your hair brain can’t figure shit out. Far = Epic. What kind of dumb-ass setting is named epic when it’s in terms of view distance? Epic view distance? Should be far, either way, it does not matter. You are still fucking stupid, and more than likely uneducated.

Well…not exactly.
He’s talking about graphics settings. You’re trying to talk about field of view settings. Which are two different things completely

Here. Judge for yourself

Howdy Cad,

yes and no - ā€œgraphics settingsā€ also is a general term which has its meaning outside PHG too.

If somebody wants to understand what Pooter wanted to say, it was/is possible…

Same is true for ā€œfarā€ setting…

Cheers, Bonator

Maybe…that’s from today. Cards on the table everyone can judge for themselves
