Low tier FT weapons
Itās the second one, the Colt 45 knock off.
I like it for the profile with the Silencer, clear camps with it and it means I donāt have an empty holster⦠That sounds weird when I type it out, but itās still why I like it.
When we get better stealth and AI awareness/behaviour Iām gonna be a beast, š.
What I would do is have shotguns push the predator off of you. Like throwing them back. That would be a nice thing it could do, add a knock back (in close range, obviously) like in the second movie. So giveāem knock back and keep the damage.
SMGās are in a good place.
AK vs hammerhead. Overall hammerhead is better but considering 80% of preds insist on melee, the AK is better (since its better in melee). Iāve melted quite a few ofāem that charge that way.
LMG is in a good place.
Minigun, remove the slow effect. Its useless with it against any competent predator. Youāre just a sitting duck. The time it takes to start firing is enough of a drawback. Its also shit at distance.

Only at very close range, like 3 feet. Guns donāt actually throw people around but it should definitely slow forward momentum.
I want shotguns to be useful⦠and an over/under hunting gun at some point⦠or a sawed off traditional double barrel. If Iām only going to get 2 shots they better count.
Ammo types could help a lot with shotguns and add further balancing effects by forcing micro choices that are good for the game.
- Buck, close range high damage, fast drop off.
- Slug, high damage at range but without the spread and hip fire benefit of Buck.
- Taser, quite literally a taser packed into a shell, causes jerky motions until removed, hold square or something.
- Incendiary, same effect as CH toy.
Maybe an effect that is similar to the parry, but not a stun. It would just stop their melee attacks. That would give shotguns a niche. I really like that.
