Low tier FT weapons

Does anybody else feel that some FT weapons are in a bad place. Personally, I feel at least five weapons need strengthening.
-mini gun, 25% less spin up time and 10% more damage
-grenade launcher 15% more damage
-grimtech19 pistol 50% more ammo
-1011-12 pistol 10% more damage, 10% less firerate, and 30% more ammo
-cs12 shotgun 20% more damage

Pretty much any weapon that isn’t the LMG, AR, Both 50Cal snipers or the magnum are not viable unless you want to fuck around.

Yes, common knowledge, but how should it be fixed is the question. I forgot about smgs. But I’d say they’re all fairly viable, anyway.

Hammerhead and Gosl are even stronger than AR-W , revolver is super good, second sniper is ok because it has fast firing rate . The weapon he wrote plus the first smg and first and second assault rifle need a small buff.

Oh I meant pretty much any of the assault rifles except maybe the first I don’t really know about that one it seems fine. Yeah some are stronger than others but they’re all viable.

Personally idk without making certain weapons be class specific with each one filling a certain niche otherwise it becomes a situation where they buff certain weapons until they’re either too powerful or still not powerful enough.

Yeah except for granade launcher, first pistol and third shotgun all weapons are viable in pubs.

Thank God we’re talking about this. Yes. These weapons are essentially useless.

Minigun - Don’t think it needs more speed, I think 10% is a huge difference, start small with 3-5% but make it a pre-spin up with LT this would be a game changer and make the weapon usable.

Grenade Launcher, think the damage is fine, but make it a secondary weapon and bring back impact grenades. Maybe drop the ammo so it’s not worth spamming but good for clear outs and pred flushing

Grimtech - Bring that damage up to where it’s even considered. Half the times I go to change loadouts and play around and I go “huh? Oh I forgot that was in the game”

1011 - I like where you’re at. Think this might be good, then just put the grimtech right below it basically as far as damage

CS12 - Yes but only at longer range damage. I think it’s fine where it is for close range damage but the fall off is ridiculous

I mean they all can work even the grenade launcher it all just depends on how good the predator is. Ever since they buffed the grenade launcher I take it every so often and kill low skilled predators.

Have you ever tried fighting a Predator with a 1011-12?

I use it and it is not viable, mostly I’ll use it to let a Predator know I can see them but if I run out of assault ammo, the pistol is not a good alternative.
You can’t push the Predator off a teammate and you can punish claims with it.

I’d rather have ammo types to increase damage, rather than a straight boost though.

I’ll also add the QR whatever M4 knock off first assault rifle is basically obsolete after the Hammerhead. I guess yeah good for new players starting but maybe something damage wise to make it more viable and a choice between that and the Hammerhead, maybe fire rate I dunno. It’s just useless compared to the rest of the rifles

True, I’m not sure how that should be changed.

Even at close range, the dps is comical against the predator. Even with a 20 % buff to damage, the smgs will still have better dps, but the cs12 could be a compromise between shotguns and smgs if buffed.

I disagree, I actually run the CS12 on one of my builds and at point blank it can do some damage. Now that I think about it though that’s an assault build so…maybe you do have a point

Yeah otherwise the lmg will get nerfed into the ground for reload mechanics.

i 100% agree here however i would add the first pump shotgun to this list as currently it’s just infirior to the 2nd double barrel pump shotgun and i suppose also the first SMG since it’s just obj worse than the other 2 smgs’s

probably would for these weapons say
pump shotgun increase effective range by 10% increase damage by 5ish%

for the first SMG i have no clue what to do with that piece of garbage

I don’t know what pistol is, btw I know that First one is literally dogshit, second is just bad , revolver is ok.

Shot guns in general are too bad in this game compared to smgs. They need to decrease the overall damage of smgs (the third one for example is better than the first and second assault rifles) and increase the damage of shotgun for very close range.
